➤ He was born and raised in Yokohama, Japan. even though he is fully Korean, He was in fact adopted by a mainly japanese family. He moved with his father to South Korea in 2006.
➤ His Japanese birth name being Osamu was his father's idea– half out of irony and half because his father enjoyed many of the works of the late author. at this point in time, Dior makes many jokes about his name and seems to also enjoy many works by Dazai Osamu as well.
➤ He's been practicing dance since he was a young child— and began having aspirations to be an idol when he was in his early teens. because he was often in skirmishes with his family and had trouble getting into a company, he became an individual trainee and did his training on his own.
➤ Every choreography that he's done that isn't to an already existing k–pop song is a choreography he's made himself. he's also quite good at freestyling, and was in many dance groups during his teenage years in korea.
➤ Miscellaneous things about Osamu: he knows taekwondo, is ambidextrous, quite flexible, fluent in japanese and korean and is learning english, he's an only child, he reads / draws / writes in his spare time, and he owns three cats.
