☟ "We thought it'd be fun..."
The campfire crackled and popped as all of the group but two were seated on chairs and sat outside with the dark night and frightening trees towering around the area. The breeze was faint and cool nor was it humid either, the night sky was painted with stars that bright light across the area.
"We thought we'd be safe...But...we didn't realize the horror waiting for us on the island"
"Claws..."
"Teeth..."
"Screaming..."
Gasps were sent all around the group, shivers crawling up each person's spine with fear,
"So much screaming.."
"How much screaming?" Ben interrupted the story clinging to Kenji's arm holding a strong grip with his cheek pressed into the boys shoulder,
"Shh! He's getting to the good part" Kenji hushed Ben leaning closer to the flames in front of him,
"The T. rex stalked closer...her jaws opened wide--"
A flash shined over his face along with the sound of a shutter as Darius blinked dazedly, pulling his hood off as the suspense was broken.
"For the vlog..." Brooklynn pointed out holding up her phone,
"Keep telling your little story--" She ushered him as he sighed before throwing his hood back on for the sake of suspense,
"Oh, here we go.." Kenji leaned back in with Ben gripping onto his arm tightly,
"The T. rex sta--"
"Dang!--" Brooklynn called once more interrupting the story again,
"Ugh!" Kenji snapped leaning back as he groaned placing his head in his hands.
