Beginnings:
As ZAFT enter the war with the GINN and its variants, Zeonic saw an opportunity in helping so with permission the United Maintenance Plan was born.
Discontinuation:
Even though successful, the cost for all the MS lost during Operation Spitbreak forced Zeonic into bankruptcy, so they decided to discontinue the UMP with the last units produced in lated C.E.71.
The Zaku and Goud were later acquired by ZAFT for use.
