A few weeks had passed and it was finally time for Cordelia's engagement ceremony. Despite Selena's word to Karlheinz during his visit, she still ended up helping Cordelia with her engagement preparations.
Now she and her father were on their way to Eden for the ceremony. Cordelia had left earlier because she wanted to make some last minute touches to the preparations.
"If she was such an expert, she should have handled the preparations herself." Selena sighed remembering all the trouble that Cordelia had given her during the week.
She had originally planned to leave all the preparations to her but Cordelia couldn't organize anything to save her life and begrudgingly asked her for help. Unable to say no, Selena had to go to Eden to help her out and during the time that she stayed there, Cordelia was an absolute brat.
She was constantly nitpicking on every single detail and overriding her orders. It wasn't until Selena threatened to go home that she finally relented.
"You've really worked hard these past few days." Burai said.
Selena averted her gaze from the window of the carriage to her father who was looking very regal in formal robes of gold and white, complete with a crown resting on his head.
