☟ "Attention. All park-goers must report to the South Ferry Dock for immediate evacuation, The last ferry departs in two hours" An automated voice rang out.
They all got up, running into one big huddle.
"That's it? No explanations? That's all we get?" Brooklynn huffed, panting as Darius and Kenji came down the steps vaulting over a small wall,
"We have to move" Darius clapped getting their attention, "The only way we're gonna make it is if we run",
Sammy looked back to see Camille as she hopped rubbing her knee before dashing over, but behind her was Yasmina limping trying to keep up,
"Um...Are we sure that's the best way to get there?" Sammy motioned to the two injured girls.
"I'm fine. I've competed with a torn ACL" Yasmina snapped with a short grunt,
"I've played a match with a dislocated knee, not much of a difference hm?" Camille added with a gentle shrug before her jacket was tossed into her arms by Kenji as she flashed him a smile,
"You should be way more worried about Ben and Bumpy.." Yasmina pointed behind her to Ben who was panting heavier than the two girls combined.
Ben then walked over and pulled out a map of the island he placed it down rolling it out, pointing down onto the map as he let out another quick pant before continuing.
"Even if we ran at peak Yaz speed, there's no way we'd make the last boat out" Ben then moved his finger across the map to where the boat would be
"You don't know that..." Sammy said as Ben scoffed, "Yes, I do. I memorized the evacuation plan on the ferry ride over" This caused everybody to groan in frustration, Brooklynn and Camille sitting down on the small wall.
"Okay, so we need another way," Darius said confidently thinking they could find a way as he started listing a few things off when Brooklynn cut in adding on foolish ideas in a sarcastic tone before the mood dropped again.
