☟ The Scorpius rex...
"No..." Brooklynn said slowly, shaking her head as she bit down on her nails before the entire boat fell silent.
The Scorpius moved around the grass area that was close to the dock as Kenji was quick to run to the control panel and reverse the boat away from the dock ever so slowly.
All the girls had crouched down behind the railing, watching the Scorpius roam the area in hopes that it wouldn't see them fleeing and they were lucky enough to not be caught as the boat drifted as discreetly as possible, far enough that the Scorpius shouldn't reach as they had to squint to be able to see any life form moving on the docks.
It was nothing but a waiting game now, seconds passed by, which led to minutes but the minutes felt like agonizing hours. They had waited long enough as there was no sight of the Scorpius within the area, Kenji drove back toward to dock ever so carefully parking the boat, and the five of them departed the boat and slowly walked up the dock to examine the area.
The area felt cold and chilling before they all screamed at a sudden tail flying towards them causing the five to jump back down the ramp they were walking up,
"No Scorpius..." Brooklynn heaved out a breath, continuing upwards with Sammy,
"Yet--" Yasmina said quickly as she moved her hand away from her head letting out a slow breath herself. Camille readjusted her balance using her bat, bitting down onto her lip as her shoulder ached,
Sammy let out a quick gasp, alarming everybody, "Oh, my gosh! Guys!" She exclaimed and the girls began to run over but Kenji remained with his eyes covered by the dock ramp,
"What is it? Describe it with words!" Kenji called out to the girls, "Oh, just walk over here Kenji..!" Sammy called out towards him, and reluctantly he came over,
They had found a limo that was trashed up against a tree, the windscreen was shattered entirely along with most of the windows followed by the crushed front of the vehicle. They all thought the worst at first glance. "Oh, no. Darius and Ben?" Brooklynn said as she ran her fingers over the bumps and dents of the limo,
