Side tracked scientist (a floofty x reader fic)

chapter Two

Floofty POV
They felt their face heat up as they heard their voice, Y/N....but of course they had to stay professional and turned around. "You took your sweet time coming here, any longer and my leg would've rotted away"
Y/N looked shocked, probably should've suspected as such, no one expects a grumpus a week ago to be fine and the next to be missing a limb.
"Uhh...can you come back to snaxburg?" Floofty sighed to themself at the thought, they still had research to do "I will not! Now assist me or begone with you!" After telling Y/N to go get a red banopper they finally had some time to themselves to finish off the upgrade to the snaxivator.

Y/N POV
I finally fed them the noodler they wanted, quietly putting away my snaxpack "I have learned much" floofty said "dispute your general ignorance you have been of use to me, good job!" I smile to myself, I always wanted to help and my current way of helping is filbo and the many other residents of snaxburg with whatever problems happening. "I will experiment on snaxburg" I paused for a few seconds "you meant experiment IN snaxburg.....right?" Floofty simply chuckled "I look forward to working with you further" before starting their walk back to snaxburg

Floofty POV
As I slowly walk back to town I start thinking about that frist time we met and now, the worried expression on their face when they mentioned experimenting on snaxburg was priceless, yet they couldn't get those moments out of their head. But for the sake of science they would have to go on with their research. Maybe they should ask someone about it later when they aren't that busy
