2 months later

J-Dog walks through the corridors to where Danny waits for him

" Hey Jay" Danny says hugging him. J-Dog hugs back before pulling away as he notices one of the new recruits walking past, looking at them. J-Dog mutters to himself and glances at Danny

" So how've you been holding up? I haven't seen you much since...him" Danny says, his voice slowly going quieter. J-Dog sighs quietly looking at the floor

" I've been better but it's not right without him" J-Dog says. Danny nods understanding the feeling. Ever since Da Kurlzz died everyone has been not the same, no one laughed or smiled for a month straight. Even at his funeral, hardly anyone talked

" I get you. He's still with us though, in our hearts and watching us from above" Danny says patting J-Dog's shoulder, trying his hardest to make him crack a smile. J-Dog smiles and shakes his head

" I don't believe in anything like that" J-Dog says

" Well I do" Danny says giggling

" I can tell" J-Dog says looking at him sarcastically. " Lots of us die. Every day. I guess I'm used to the heartbreak, Matt just caught me by surprise and I lost two of my best friends, learned that one of them betrayed us and killed my old best friend. It was just not my day"

" I understand but we need to move past that. This feels like therapy, I am sorry" Danny says making J-Dog laugh

" You're good. We should probably get to work before Johnny kicks our asses" J-Dog says

" Haven't you heard?" Danny asks making J-Dog freeze and look at him. "The gangs splitting up and moving to different parts of the state. Some people are going to Texas, some to Ohio. We're not gonna be doing jobs like we are here, were just gonna live our lives but always have each other for backup"

" Who organised this?" J-Dog asks

" Charlie and Johnny had a meeting and they agreed on that. They said it was safer so there was less chance of us all dying from gang related things and more chance of us dying of old age or something. I don't know, I wasn't really listening" Danny says shrugging

J-Dog stares at Danny before slowly looking away, trying to process the news. He'd be safer but he wouldn't be as close to his best friends as he would here. J-Dog turns away and starts walking to Johnny's office

" Seriously? We're all splitting up? We've been doing this for years, we've been through so much shit together and you're just gonna let that go?" J-Dog yells bursting through the door

" We need to go through a new way of life. I have a daughter, it's the best thing for us all" Johnny says standing up

" Why Charlie. I'm your second in command, I had to have Danny tell me" J-Dog yells

" Cause I knew he wouldn't react like this. This isn't what I wanted Jorel" Johnny says

"Well this is what you're getting. It isn't Jorel to you, it's fucking J-Dog " J-Dog snaps turning away to walk out the room

" You're going to LA. You're going back home Jorel. You can see your family " Johnny says

" You mean my dad dead, my suicidal brother who's probably dead by now, my sister who's never there and my mom who hates me. Awesome family to go back to. That place isn't my home, this is my home. I belong here" J-Dog snaps slamming the door behind him. J-Dog walks down the hall, passing Danny

" J-Dog..." Danny says gently touching his arm

" No" J-Dog snaps as he doesn't look at Danny
