Jordyn Diana Herondale, previously known as Jordyn Diana Fairchild/Fray was not a name people were familiar with, not mundanes or vampires, neither faeries nor Nephilim. Maybe the New York werewolf pack were pretty familiar with her, but that's it, nobody else gave her a second glance. Well, horny mundane teenagers did and some bloodsucking vampires but that was not really because she was Jordyn, more as in she was pretty and her blood smelled good.
So there she was, tricked into believing she was the unwanted daughter of Valentine Morgenstern and Jocelyn Fairchild, the shadow of her " sister" Clarissa Fairchild. Then came along Lucian Graymark or his mundane name Luke Garroway, the only person who looked at her for her. Maybe if things had gone better Jordyn would have known about the magical world when her sister found out, but when she ended up in the wrong alleyway and was saved by a certain dark-haired shadowhunter with a bow and arrow her "family" were forced to tell her the truth.
