Summer Days

Part I

Namjoon glanced at his wristwatch as he opened the main door, it read 11:14. He tiredly walked in, removing his shoes and hanging his coat. Making his way to the living room, he plopped down on the couch and sighed heavily. Today had been a long day. His muscles were stiff and tense from blowing off steam in the gym. He wondered if he should go relax in the pool.

"Oh hyung! You're home", Jungkook's voice echoed through the living room, making namjoon open his eyes. Jungkook stood outside the kitchen, a can of sprite in his hands

"Ya", Namjoon replied shortly as Jungkook walked around the couch and handed him the can of sprite

"thanks", Namjoon muttered as he took a sip 

"You know Hobi hyung is gonna kill you once he finds out you drank his last can of sprite", Jungkook snickered 

"Jungkook why would you give me his last can", Namjoon groaned at the maknae's evil plan

"Don't worry", Jungkook chuckled. "Yoongi hyung has gone to the drug store for Jin hyung's migraine. I told him to get sprite on his way back"

"Oh ya, how's his headache now?" Namjoon asked, getting up. Jungkook understood they were going to check up on Jin

"Its still the same, though his fever has gone down a little", Jungkook replied as they both made their way to the shared room of Jin and Namjoon 

Namjoon sighed. "Crazy what this heat can do to you", he said

Jungkook nodded in agreement as he opened the door.

Namjoon was immediately hit by a wave of cold air; he felt a little dizzy due to the sudden temperature change. He had been out the whole day after all

Jin lay on his bed. His hair slicked back with sweat; torso naked. 

"Hey", Jin greeted upon seeing them

"How are you feeling?", Namjoon asked, sitting at the foot of his bed.

"I'll be back", Jungkook said and hurried back out 

"Feels like a construction crew in my head", Jin chuckled 

"You'll feel better soon. You shouldn't have left the window open in the dance room; you know you are sensitive to the heat", Namjoon said softly, patting Jin's leg

"I didn't notice and when I did it was too late", Jin laughed at his stupidity 

"Here", Jungkook said as he emerged in the doorway. "Your glass was empty so uh here, cold water", he placed the glass on the bedside table and took the empty glass

"Call me if you need anything. Ok hyung? I'll be in my room", saying so Jungkook marched off

"He and yoongi stayed with me, they had the emptiest schedule out of all of us for today"

"Mhm...Yoongi informed me."

"You look tired"

"I went to the gym and you know comeback season.... Meetings all the time", namjoon sighed

"I know, very hectic. Don't overwork yourself", Jin reminded

"I won't.... I was thinking of going to take a dip in the pool", Namjoon recalled

"That'll be great. Y/n's there too"

"Y/n's gone to swim? Now?"

"She left just ten minutes before you came. Said she wasn't getting sleep"

"Oh, guess I'll go too", Namjoon said. "What about the others?"

"Yoongi's gone to get my medicines and he's going to be picking up taehyung and Jimin from the airport. Hope's asleep, he passed out on the couch mumbling something about dancing too much. Jungkook put him to bed"
