Salem was very well known around the world for its history on the witch trials, in which innocent women who were called witches were killed. The real witches were careful to not get caught and made a run to New Orleans, which became a home to the witches. Talented witches were selected to attend an academy of young women, this was obviously a disguise so that they wouldn't bring any suspicion towards them. As years went by witches were slowly becoming extinct with the rising numbers of hunters that hunted them down. The Foster family were one of the powerful members of the coven, making them their prime target. Luckily they decided to come out of hiding and spill blood, killing any kind of hunter remaining. In order for them to pretend that never happened they decided to move to the small town of Forks in Washington to be normal for once but as always there has to be something crazy happening with them since they are not really...normal.
