The other world

In the deepest corners of my mind

Is a world wholly mine

A place where magic thrives

A kingdom of which I am the queen

A haven in which resides a child

With a wonder which knows no bounds

A place where sky meets the land

My own little wonderland, I like to call

Down the valleys, up the hills

Across the oceans and sky

I run, I fly

Smiling at the world passing by

A fantasy, a dream shunned out, shackled

Easily it is confined

In the corners of my mind

Where imagination dies at hands of harsh reality again

Good bye dreams and hello pain
