Legolas opened his eyes "ada" he called "ada!" his voice started to get loud
Thranduil who was sitting reading a book, immediately threw his book and ran towards Legolas "Legolas!" He yelled in panicked
Legolas tries to get up, and Thranduil catches him and hugs him tightly "Legolas" he whispered, he cried hugging Legolas tightly
"Adar, I'm afraid" Legolas whispered
"There is nothing to be afraid of, Legolas. I am here. I will protect you."
"I met nana, she told me to hold her hand, and she pulled me out of the water"
Thranduil let go of his embrace, he touched Legolas' cheek "you met your nana?" He asked
Legolas nodded "hm"
Thranduil smiled, he then kissed Legolas on the cheek "I knew she would protect you too"
"Looks like my job is done" Elrond walked into the room with a smile on his face
"Thank you Lord Elrond" Legolas said
Elrond approached Legolas, he stroked Legolas' head gently "anytime" he replied "and besides, I also can't hold back the twin orcs that are forcing their way in to see you"
"Hey Legolas!" A pair of elves with black hair, gray eyes with very similar faces entered the room
"How are you?" Elladan asked
"Are you healed enough to ruin Erestor's day?" Elrohir askedenthusiastically
Legolas smiles broadly
"Boys" Elrond grabbed the shoulders of the two mischievous elves They look at their father
"Sorry, ada" Elladan said
"We were just joking" Elrohir spoke now
"The problem is I can't tell if you're joking or not."
"Exactly" they both said in unison
And the whole room burst out laughing
"WHO HIDED ALL THE PENS IN MY ROOM AND REPLACED IT WITH CHICKEN FEATHER!!! GLORFINDEL!" Erestor's yelled echoed throughout Imladris
"THAT'S NOT ME! I SWEARS FOR VALAR'S BEARD!"
"VALAR DOESN'T HAVE A BEARD!"
The twins looked at each other and laughed. They both then ran away from their father's grip and ran outside
"See you later, Mellon" Elladan said
"We will play later" Elrohir said
"Those little orcs!" complained Elrond
