Edward's POV

I felt someone hit my arm, It was Kidd. Bela was still sound asleep, her leg kicked over my stomach. "Ahoy, Kidd. you missed quite a time." I said. "Aye, Pity about Nassau, Blackbeard flying a coop and you and my dear friend here, all I got to say is you better take care of her." Mary said sternly. I got up carefully but made sure not to wake up Bela. "I will... oh will see about Thatch. Vance's off to see him now, Bela and I will follow soon, unless you need Bela in the matter." I said to Mary. "No it's fine, she will come with me when needed but This is what's left of your experiment of democracy?" Mary explained. "Aye, we do as we please here and take our time doing it." I explained then I looked over at Bela.

Bela's POV

I opened my eyes to find Edward, Mary and Adewale looking at me. I chuckled. "Hello Dear Friend." I said "Don't worry I already warned Kenway but we were just chatting away but Edward for Christ's stake. Don't anything but the stink of Riches wrinkle your nose?" Mary said to me and talked to Edward. I took it. We were going to follow Vance soon for Blackbeard.

"What's gotten into you, Man?" Edward asked Mary, I knew what was up. Mary and I have been friends for a long time. I knew what got into her. "Reality, Mate. Reality. See you two ain't pulled into the drink by this drowning rat." Mary said to Edward then to both Adewale and I. "Oy! I've lived longer than most men who trod down this path!" Edward yelled at Mary. I sighed. "Yeah, my dear friend there will tell you, you are following the tactics that her father did and Bela doesn't want to see you killed." Mary said to Edward before walking off.

I grabbed onto Edward's hand before he could get another drink. I put it down, "Edward, Kidd isn't wrong, please be careful, I'll meet you and Adewale at the ship." I said. I kissed his knuckle and went to the ship. "Listen to her, Kenway, her father was a good man but these same tactics resulted in him getting killed." I heard Adewale said to Edward.

We made it to Thatch and Vance. "A great disappointment you are, Thatch!" I heard Vance tell Blackbeard. As Edward and I walked up, "His mind is made up to stay, he says. So sod 'im! And hang all you that follow this sorry bastard into Obscurity!" Vance exclaimed as he pointed at Blackbeard as he walked off. Thatch spit and said "That man's a Prick."

"I know you two come to call me Home, Volkov and Kenway. And both of your faith in me is kind. But with Nassau done in, I feel finished." Blackbeard said to the both of us and I shook my head knowing he was giving while Vance, Edward and I are still fighting for Nassau but it's his decision, I'll respect it, I know Edward will too, even if he doesn't like it.

"We're not in the same mind, mate. But We won't begrudge you the state of yours." Edward said. "Are you still looking for that sage fellow? Not to mention I saw Alina not to long ago." Blackbeard asked. I tightening my fist at the mention of my sister which Edward responded with and grabbed my hand. Blackbeard noticed my tension.

"Aye, We are, same goes for Alina." Edward said and I smiled softly at him. "Taking a prize a month back, I heard a man named Roberts was working a slave ship called The Princess. Might want to see about it but for Alina, she's been watching her back knowing she has quite a few targets going after her." Blackbeard said as he sat down.

Could that mean that Ah Tabai put out something about her to the assassins about her. I mean she is dangerous, I know he did this to keep everyone safe.

"The Princess. Cheers Thatch." Edward said as we sat there. "Now you two don't stand there like barrels of wet fish. We're celebrating my retirement!" Blackbeard exclaimed and We chuckled. "Uncork this man and woman's breakfast!" Blackbeard exclaimed. As Edward and I got up, A Man stumbled through everyone which Edward and I found odd. Edward turned back to Blackbeard, "Save us a Few bottles, eh?" Edward asked and Blackbeard nodded. Edward and I walked off, "That man is a little suspicious." I said to Edward and He nodded. "Let us follow." He said as we put our hoods up. I nodded and we began to tail the stranger.

"We have to get back now!" I exclaimed. Edward nodded and we headed back for the ship.

We reached the Jackdaw. Holy hell.

After taking down the Man o' war ship, Immediately jumped on the ship. "Bela be careful!" Edward exclaimed at me. "I'll be fine, I am a big girl darling, I can handle myself!" I exclaimed as I plunged a sword into a guard.

"Oh look boys, it's Alina's Cowardly sister." The guard said and they laughed. "Oh is that suppose to be a joke, because you fools are the only ones laughing but do cowards do this." I said before slaughtering all of them. "Who got the last laugh, (Bastard)." I said as Kenway and Blackbeard jumped onto the ship.

It was getting out of hand, there were too many of them but we cannot give up. "Kenway!" I heard Blackbeard exclaim. I quickly handed him my gun before he blasted the soldier. "In a world without gold, we might have been heroes!" He exclaimed. "Thatch!" We both exclaimed as he was killed by the Guard. I was in shock so was Edward, Then Edward was shoved off the ship. "Edward!" I exclaimed as I jumped in after him.

"What of Thatch, sir? Did he fall? Captain?" Adewale asked. "He drinks damnation." Edward responded. I looked ahead.
