17 - OCHAKO'S SICK DAY

AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is inspired by the "Zero Gravity Sickness" one shot. After reading the story, i find it wholesome so i decided to create my own version of a story about sick Mochi and the one who takes care of her is no other than the Brocolli boy himself.

It's Friday, and everyone is thrilled that it's the final day of the week. As the sun broke over the horizon, all of class 1-A buzzed with excitement for their "after-class" social activities, such as playing basketball, spending time with family, shopping, strumming guitars, and cooking. Students started to exit their rooms while others were getting their breakfast.

Izuku likes discussing his visit with his mother and Bakugo with Shoto, while Bakugo, as noisy as always, shouts about Kirishima's Math Results. They appeared oblivious to the fact that one UA student was missing from the common room.

Tsuyu came to approach Izuku to ask while carrying her meal. "Midoriya-chan, have you seen, ochako-chan today?" Izuku paused and looked around the common and kitchen area. Ochako wasn't there. "I dunno, tsuyu-chan" Izuku replied while he keeps his head spinning side by side to look for his friend.

"I haven't seen her. I assume that she is still getting ready though". Iida replied while eating his bowl of cereal.

"I'm a bit concerned about Ochako-chan. Last night during our internships, we confronted a villain called "Sympto" who had robbed the Senshō bank. Ochako-chan rescued Nejire-chan from Sympto's beam, but she was struck directly by one of his henchmen."

"Is she okay?" Izuku asked also worried to his bestfriend.

"I dunno. We walked home together and said that she 's okay" Tsuyu said while munching her cereals.

"I'm pretty sure that Uraraka-kun is okay and she is still changing now. She always came early at class" Iida said while waving his hands like a robot. Izuku smiled and said

"Yeah, probably she's changing right now."

The class began at eight o'clock, but Ochako was still absent. Iida noted her name in the attendance record and wondered what could have happened to her. Izuku was also concerned that something unfortunate may have occurred to his best friend. When Aizawa called the names for attendance, Izuku decided to search for her in the dorms. "Hurry, Midoriya, locate her. If she's not back in ten minutes, I'll mark her ab-."

Just then, Ochako entered the classroom slowly. The students were taken aback by her appearance. Half of her hair had turned grey, and her once smooth, fair skin looked pale and slightly greyish. Her cute rosy cheeks had disappeared, and her eyes appeared lifeless. Everyone fell silent as she made her way to her desk.

'U-Uraraka-san?...what happened to her?', Izuku pursed his lips while observing her condition.

"Ochako, are you alright?" Mina asked while she felt troubled by looking at her classmate. "Silence, let's proceeds now to our next topic..." Aizawa yelled out as class 1-A remain their silence.

Lunchbreak starts and Izuku dashes towards Ochako while Iida scolding her.

"What happened to you? You should be very careful, Uraraka-kun. One of these days you're gonna sleep through the entire day!"

"I know, Iida-kun and I'm sorry". Ochako said, still sounding weary.

"Are you alright, uraraka-san?" Izuku asked with his concerned face. Ochako didn't look at him as she speaks.
