SIXTEEN ㅡ Polaroids

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Soo Chul came to the classroom excitedly, carrying a board with the trips polaraids and shouted

"The polaraids of the trips are here!!" Everyone quickly gathered around him, of course mostly the girls to get their favorite A3 members photos.

Baekhyun walked into the crowd as everyone moved giving space to him, as girls squealed in distance

"Baekhyun ah~ all your photos are already sold, what can we even do about it you're just so handsome" Ae-il giggled right after as other girls agreed with her.

"But it's ok, you can have mine instead." She shyly said

"Yah! Why would he wants yoursㅡ"

"I'm having this one" Baekhyun cut il Jin as he saw what he wanted, when another hand landed on that polaroid

Baekhyun turned to his side to see Nam Joo holding onto the same polaroid that he wanted to have, the both of them glared at eachother. As Nam Joo pulled the polaroid to his side

But Baekhyun wasn't letting it go.

"I found it first." Baekhyun said intensely glaring at Nam Joo

"Well, I got it first." Nam Joo replied titling his head to the side, Baekhyun let out a disbelief scoff looking away, he looked back at him and pulled the polaroid to his side.

"Let go of it."

"How about a 'no'?"

The chirpy and noisy atmosphere went to disturbing silence, as the boys who were friends since diapers were learning about a polaroid.

That's exactly when Byul entered the class with Dan Oh confused by the silence, as she expected the 'polaroid thing' to go on.

She walked towards to where the kids were gathered and then looked at the polaroid Nam Joo and Baekhyun were holding on to.

"Oh! I was planning to order my polaroids but guess it already happened!" Byul exclaimed happily as all the attention when to her

"But what are you guys doing with it anyways? It's my
polaroid tho"

"I can explainㅡ" Both of them glared at eachother, as they spoke in unison

"Whatever it is anyway, I'm taking it" she snatched it from them, and walked happily to her seat and the bell also rang at the same time, as all students went to their perspective seats.

"Yah, Baekhyun meet me at the rooftop during recess." Nam Joo coldly said nd walked away, as Baekhyun just clenched his fist

The recess came earlier than usual, as Baekhyun saw Nam Joo head outside and remembered about what Nam Joo has told him about.

He took a last glance at Byul who was laughing while talking to Dan Oh, a soft smile curved on his cold face as he immediately went to the rooftop.

Baekhyun quickly spotted Nam Joo with his back facing him, he took a deep breath before walking to him.

Despite them being friends for so long, Baekhyun still feared Nam Joo, because 'he does what he says.' It's like he never jokes about anything

"You're here" Nam Joo said as Baekhyun stopped behind him, Nam Joo turned to Baekhyun and walked towards him

"I'm planning to ask Byul out on birthday, what do you think?" And right at that moment everything stopped for Baekhyun

Was Nam Joo really gonna ask her out?

"So......

Don't ruin it for me, and if you did you know the consequences right?"
