part 5: blending in

3 rd person view:

It was a magnifisent morning. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping. Peace. Or so the golden guard thougth.

Y/ns voice disturbed the piece: "morning how'd you sleep last night?" Hunter: "what the hell?! *pushes y/n off* what were you doing in my bed?! you were supposed to sleep on the air mattress on the floor!" y/n: "I had a nightmare." hunter: "you had a nightmare?? what are you five years old?" y/n: listen i needed to feel comfortable and i was getting this perversed power dynamic vibe from me sleeping on the ground and you sleeping up there"Hunter: "Ahh yes how high and mighty I am up on my twin XL." Y/n: "that is not what i meant." Hunter: "silence in the presence of your king who sleeps a lofty 12 and a half inches off the ground." Y/n:"listen I'm not ashamed. I slept comfortable when I got up on your bed and I'm sure you did too." Hunter:"yeah ok." Y/n:you know what? I wanna know. How'd you sleep last night?" Hunter:"*sigh* that was the best I've slept in awhile." Y/n"*le gasp* the kings slept comfortably with a peasant in his bed.Hunter: i did not consent to this." he said putting two finger on the brige oh his mask, where his nose is supposed to be.

Y/n's pov:

I stood up and looked around trying to find my scouts uniform. ''Hey you haven't seen the uniform have you?'' I said turning to him. Tho i coudnt see his face, it didn't take two braincells to know he was smirking. He had the uniform in his hands. You put one hand on your hip and spoke ''The fuck do you want'' you questioned. ''An apolgy''. You coudn't hold in your laugther.

This dude, who I suposse is very high tital, is asking for an apology. You serious. You hold stomach from all the laugther and fell on the mattres. You coudn't stop laugthing. You finally look at him, he had his staff in his hand, witch was glowing and probably he was glaring at you. ''You know I could kill you in two seconds'' he said with anger in his voice. ''But you won't, will you? You kinda need me, don't you? You need your precious information'' you said interwining your palms into knuckles and putting them on your cheeck ''and you can't afford to lose it'' you said leaning next to his mask.

His staff stop glowing and his grip on the staff losent. You took the opportunity to jonk the uniform out oh his arm. ''Thank you'' you said starting to put on the uniform (you put it on your pyjamas). ''You better get dressed to goldy'' you said putting the final touches on the uniform. He just growled and started putting his own uniform.

''Now, its time we devise a plan for you'' he said. ''I suposse we should''. ''You can just bland in with the scouts, do what they do, I'm going to keep an eye on you, so you don't screw it up, capish'' he said tilting his head to the side. You groaned. How where you supossed to keep a low profile. This all is so confusing.

Then you both started going in the doors diraction. ''Just promise me that you won't try to idk.....screw me over'' ''Why, afraid your precious information will just *you did a pop sound with your mouth* dissapier?'' ''I swear to titan i will skin you alive and sell your organs on the nigth market''. You push him and run out. ''suckeeeerrrr'' you say running behind a wall.

It only took a couple of minutes to find some other scouts. You queitly creeped up to them and just blindly followed them. That's how your day basiccly went, nothing intresting happend. Some guarding, some lifting (lol, you with your weak nerd arms) and just normal guard stuff.

Tho you almost got caught (you dumbass). When the general asked for a simple question, you choked up and almost got yourself caught. Not knowing much about this world is not very good. They asked for a spell circle and you were like. 'The fuck is that'. Luckily their attention was brougth to a diffrent scout.

You joined the scouts during lunch, and you may ask how no one see you? You just lifted your mask up a little. And you were oblivious to a certain guard glaring at you.
