Taehyung was calling Jungkook on the phone, but the latter was already rushing inside the hotel, so he disconnected. His best friend caught him in front of the lobby. "They are on strike."

"Who is on strike?" Jungkook asked, holding the older's forearms. Taehyung looked panicked and he was sweating, his hair drenched under his chef's hat. "The guests are posting reviews. The chef has closed the kitchen demanding a few changes in the management style."

"What changes?" Jungkook asked, his own heart suddenly pounding.

"They are saying that Mr. Park is favoring a certain group of employees," Taehyung voiced hesitantly, knowing that the group was theirs and the reason was Jungkook. "They believe that this is encouraging unfair treatment at the workplace and they wouldn't inspire such behavior. They are also worried they won't get a fair raise on salaries."

"When did all of this happen? No one told me."

"They were at it since you went in heat, but we didn't want to worry you unnecessarily."

Jungkook suddenly spotted Jimin coming out of the meeting room in his matching blue suit and his feet stopped when his eyes fell on the omega. The two friends weren't exactly the definition of poised, so Jimin grew worried. "What's going on?" He asked, but his tone was commanding, like a true boss.

"I quit."

Both Taehyung and Jimin exchanged glances before staring at Jungkook. "No, you don't." Jimin scoffed in disbelief.

"I already did," Jungkook snatched his name tag from his uniform and kept it on Taehyung's palm.

"Jungkook, no," Jimin now got around to stand in front of the omega as he turned to leave.

"No," Jungkook threw his hands in the air, pulling himself away. "They are right. You did buy the hotel for me. It's unfair to other employees if you are going to favor me, so I quit."

"I don't accept your resignation," Jimin declared, face crossing with solemnity and it wasn't thinly veiled what he said next. "I did nothing for you. It's your misconception. If anything, I re-hired Taehyung because he needed a job and no one would hire him. I changed policies for all of the omegas, not especially you, but also for the betas and alphas. And anything else that I am going to change will be because I am thinking for everyone, and you are included in everyone, aren't you?"

Jungkook's brows curved before his face hung low. "I- I guess so..." He mumbled as the confusion passed over him cutely. "I will go inside then."

"There is no food to serve if there's no cooked food, doll. What are you going to do in the empty restaurant?" Jimin teased, smiling mischievously at Jungkook's back. The omega now pouted before he turned to face the alpha with wide, pretty eyes. "I have something for you to do. Come with me." Jungkook thought for a moment, but he realized that Jimin was his top boss now. He couldn't skip his command.

One way or the other, the alpha knew how to make him obey too.

He nodded and walked closer to the rosemary scent.

"You are in charge," Jimin pointed at Taehyung. "Consider yourself promoted as a head chef effective immediately. I need you to go and plan. The dinner should be cooking tonight."

Taehyung's breath hitched. Was this a fucking dream? From unemployed to a high-paying assistant chef in one day and now a head chef who looked after an entire hotel with two hundred rooms? If he could, he would tie Jungkook and make him marry the gracious alpha in return for everything that Jimin was doing for him.

Jungkook sat with his thighs closed and palms rubbing together. Jimin came with a tray in his hand, which he kept on the table in front of the couch where the omega sat. Jungkook got on his feet immediately. "Let me do it, Hyu- Sir."
