After a long evening of eating pizza and chatting with taiju you decide to walk him home you wander the streets aimlessly with nothing to do until you run into a limping Pomeranian
It looked hungry and tired you felt bad and decided to call the animal hospital so they could take it in "poor little thing" you mumbled to yourself.you follow the dog to the shelter to make sure its okay
The workers tell you if nobody comes to adopt it they're going to put the dog down your mind scrambled as you blurted out "THIS IS ACTUALLY MY DOG SHE JUST GOT LOST"you couldn't believe you said that
You end up taking her home after signing a few papers and waiting for them to finish treating her "well big girl you're stuck with us now" you pet her head gently as you carry her home "simply adorable and cute"
You reach home to see hakkai and yuzuha waiting for you they spring up with excitement to see you and the little puppy
Hakkai squawked "Aww where did you get this cute fluffy dog" he was all over her "calm down shes still has a hurt paw" he had big doe eyes "huh what happened" you put the puppy down "i found her limping through the streets at night so i took her in" you could see a little tear in hakkai's eye it was adorable
"Why dont we name her we cant keep calling her dog" the shibas looked at eachother and back at the dog "NAME HER MEGUMI" you laughed at the siblings yelling the same name "alright her name from now on is megumi"
You gently set megumi down "we will buy stuff for her tomorrow for now i will let her sleep in my bed" they nodded "all this excitement has made me hungry who's cooking tonight"you let out a tiny groan before yuzuha interrupted "lets just order something tonight"
You lean on her shoulder "thank you for that idea i totally did not feel like cooking tonight" she nods "whats the dog gonna eat" hakkai yelled "you feed her since you're so interested"
He lights up and runs to the kitchen "ill give her this chopped up sausage!" You shrug "go ahead" he takes a few softly holding his hand out to megumi for her to eat "im gonna order chicken is that okay with yall?" "Yes"
After Ordering you all ate and played with megumi till midnight you sent the siblings to bed because they had school the next day you take megumi with you to bed and fall asleep
An:this was basically a filler chapter because i had writers block we will be in track with the main story starting next chapter i hope you enjoyed this short little heart warming tale see ya
