Chapter 7

As Aarohi stands shy by her act, suddenly it thunders. Neil comes out & speaks

Neil (smiling): Oyee, Chipkali its going to rain I think

Aarohi: Chamgadar, you know what, I am not a blind girl, I can see the black clouds & I know that it will rain

Suddenly rain starts pouring. Neil goes back inside but Aarohi stays looking at the rain. Neil looks back for Aarohi but is shocked to see that she is not with him. He goes back, he finds Aarohi wetting her hand in the rain

Neil: Hey Chipka....

Before he could complete his words, Aarohi was dancing like a kid in the rain. Neil felt like his whole body was on fire

Aarohi: Hey Chamgadar, aao na itna maza he na to dance in the rain

Neil: Aarohi, are you mad? Don't you know that after a day its our Mehendi? If you fall ill?

Aarohi looks at Neil. She stops dancing but was standing still in the rain. Neil could not tolerate much so he himself got in the rain to make Aarohi go back to the house

Neil: Pagal ho gaya tum, chalo mere saath!

Neil holded her hands but Aarohi stood there like a stone. As Neil turned, Aaru was extending her face upwards, rain fell on her face like beads. Neil went in front of her, placed his hands under her face & pulled her close. Aaru opened her eyes which were closed. They were so close to each other. They looked in each other's eyes but Aarohi turned her face away. She pushed Neil & rushed back to the house. She locked herself in Akshu's room. Neil felt that he had done the thing he should not have done or thought about. Aarohi changed to one of Akshu's salvaar. She descended down & saw Neil. She could not face him

Aarohi: Mein jaa rahi hum

Neil does not reply her. She goes out & gets into the car. Neil looks as the car goes away. After some time, Akshu, Manjiri, Abhimanyu & Reena comes back home

Akshara: Neil, Aaru kaha hein, phone nahi udaaya woh

Neil: Woh ghar vapaas chali gayi

Akshara: Mein usse raat call karungi

Abhimanyu & Akshara retreats to their rooms.

Abhimanyu: Mehendi function kal he na Akshu

Akshara: Ha, Abhi bahot saari thayariyaam baaki hei. Abhi if you don't mind can I go to Goenka Mansion?

Abhimanyu: You may, do you think that I will object to any of your wishes

Akshu kisses Abhimanyu good bye & leaves for Goenka Mansion

Here our Aaru is quite irritated with Neil & her behavior today

Swarna: Aaru beta, tum Mehendi ki dress select kar diya na

Aarohi: Nahi bade mumma

Swarna: Beta kal he mehendi, tum koi tyaari nahi kar di

Aarohi: Nahi Bade Mumma, I am tired now... let Akshu come, she will help me

Swarna, though uneasy ignores the scene.

Scene now shifts to the Birla House. Abhimanyu walks towards Neil's room

Abhimanyu: Neil, kya soch kar rahi hu tum?

Neil: Nothing, Bro. Aap kyun aayi?

Abhimanyu: Can't I come to my little brother's room?
