Currently, I'm writing this alongside The Yearbook's Ashes. I love both of these books equally and I'm excited to be writing about someone other than Bucky (even though I could never get tired of that man).
Without further ado... meet the core seven:
Ava West (our OC) is a successful writer based in Denver, Colorado. She likes expensive. The cars, shoes, clothes, anything and everything. She has a great life with amazing friends, a job she loves, and everything she needs. There's only one thing wrong with her life.
Steve Rogers is a business guru also living in Denver, mere miles away from Ava. For the past 8 years, he and Ava have run in the same friend circle, but the two couldn't hate each other more after a checkered past.
The two are faced with more time together, and confronting their past, after tragedy strikes their group of 7 and their annual camping trip is left in limbo.
Wanda Maximoff, Ava's freshman roommate (and every year after that), studying biology and currently researching for her PhD. Bonded over shitty homework assignments, late night ice cream runs in the dorms, and mutual love of hiking.
Kate Bishop, resident adventure junky, badass who loves climbing and studied physical education in college, now coaching and teaching at a local high school. Wanda's lab partner in Bio 101 who introduced Ava and Wanda to rock climbing, and their roommate junior and senior year.
Sam Wilson, friend of Steve and Ava. Family man who loves his nephews, eating, and doing all the outdoorsy stuff that led him to meeting Wanda and Kate. He's currently living in Louisiana but makes frequent trips to Colorado to see the squad.
Tony Stark, Ava's side piece in college and eventual crush. Great stress reliever from all those late nights studying though. Good friends with Sam but met Ava first at a party. Tony went on to be a successful engineer after college.
Theodore 'Thor' Odinson, Ava's good friend from class who also loves camping, hiking, and climbing outside of being a beast of a football player in college and now models. Actually a teddy bear, and Ava's shoulder to cry on.
