months have passed, and day by day sunoo and hyewon were growing closer day by day

sunoo has to admit that hyewon was not a bad person to stay with. she reminds him of the past him, the bubbly and happy sunoo that could befriend everyone in a second

maybe, and just maybe, hyewon was melting his cold heart. maybe sunoo was growing feelings for her

but maybe, means it's just a possibility. he didn't wanted to admit yet that he has fallen for the sunshine girl

"sunoo-hyung~" sunoo's friend, nishimura riki, called him out as he keeps watching from the peephole the girl fixing her clothes "what now riki"

"can come here for a second? i need to tell you something" sunoo sighed, closing his phone and standing up from the chair before reaching the younger's spot

"are you done playing with my peephole? you could have stayed home if you came here for this" he told him, his cold tone still on as he looks at him emotionless

"your girlfriend is here~" riki teased him, the sentence that just slipped out of his mouth making his eyes widen as he runs to the bathroom

just in time, hyewon pressed the doorbell as the sound echoed through the apartment

the japanese boy opened the door with a teasing smile, already planning to tease sunoo until he punched him like last time

"hi, riki right? i'm sunoo's friend, is he home?" hyewon smiled at him, looking behind him trying to spot her friend but it was no use

"yeah, he's in the bathroom shit—"

"nishimura riki don't you dare finish that sentence" the kim warned him with a deadly glare as he fixes his plain white t-shirt perfectly fitting his black hair

"hey sunoo!" she waved her hand at him happly with a bright smile on as she can feel her excitement growing

"are you free? i wanna take you somewhere" the older boy looked at his friend then at his neighbour before nodding. it's not like riki was more important than her

"great! i promise you'll have fun!" she grabbed his wrist and dragged him out of his house, already heading to the elevator "don't burn my house down riki!"

"seriously where are we going?" sunoo asked her, looking at her excited back as she keeps dragging him somewhere

their tracks stopped in front of an amusement park and he faces her with a frown "ta-da! the other week you told me you never went to an amusement park so i took you here!" her lips curved into a smile as his face lits up. he couldn't believe hyewon remembered such an useless detail of his life since no one ever did

"thank you" sunoo smiled. he smiled for the first time after years. he never thought he could ever smile again but here he is

"oh! you smiled! kim sunoo smiled for the first time! and his smile is so cute!" hyewon teased him, her heart melting at the sight of sunoo's cute smile

"aish stop it and let's go"

the whole day was probably the best day of sunoo's life. he has never felt so happy in a while

he did so many things he never did before. he ate cotton candy, he rode a roller coaster, he used a photo booth and he admitted that he is head-over-heels for choi hyewon

he likes her so much that he lost the count of how many times his heart fluttered because of her today

and now, they were walking side by side going back home while watching the sunset, hyewon wearing his jacket since she started to feel cold

"by the way, thanks for holding my hand before" the sunshine thanked him, feeling embarassed that she was so scared on the roller coasters that sunoo offered to hold her hand

"it's nothing" he smiled cheeky at her before silence took over again, the two not knowing what to say anymore

there are three words lingering around his lips, wanting to say them so badly but sunoo is a coward and doesn't have the guts to let them escaped his mouth

"can i be honest with you?" hyewon looks at him confused and nods, a confused expression taking over her face as she doesn't know why but she expects something bad

"i've grown feelings for you"
