Ryujin has liked Jake for sometime now. Jake is the shy kind of guy especially when it comes to girls and liking them. Whereas Ryujin is the opposite. She is confident and assertive around guys. There is a couple of years between Ryujin and Jake but that doesn't matter of course. She tried to assert her presence around Jake and flirt with him a bit but it hasn't worked. He was shy around Ryujin and holding back. Girls are a weakness to Jake. Ryujin's confidence shines and some guys like a confident woman. Maybe Jake likes that deep down but he doesn't know that yet. Only time will tell if Ryujin can make a move on Jake or the other way round

Ryujin and Jake are about to bump into each other today. Their groups have been invited to a fashion show in Seoul. ITZY are ambassadors of Burberry and ENHYPEN are ambassadors of the brand Ami so they are going to the fashion show. They know they are going to be there so they are bound to see each other but hopefully it won't be awkward. Ryujin is confident around guys. ITZY are on their way to the fashion show and ENHYPEN will be on their way soon. The girls get into the limo that's waiting outside their place and it whisks them away to the event which is about 45 minutes away from where they live. "Let's do this girls" Yeji said. "Oh yeah. Burberry" Yuna replies. The girls talk as they travel to the event. They had photos taken by the press. They don't always like cameras in their faces. They make it in the building and find their allocated seats for the show. ENHYPEN have just arrived but they are not sat down yet. They enter the building and they sit over the opposite side of the room to ITZY. Jake catches Ryujin's eye and she looks at him. Lia could notice that. "Ohhhh you've got your eye on one of the ENHYPEN members" Lia said. "No just looking over there" she said. "Ohhhhh I think you have" she said. "Nah you're wrong" Ryujin said. Lia nudged her and smirked. Ryujin was lying to her

ITZY and ENHYPEN enjoy the fashion show. Ryujin's eyes kept on drifting to Jake across the room. She was getting distracted by him. She thought Jake looked cute in the shirt and suit he was wearing. Now if is the after party of the fashion event. ITZY loved all the gorgeous and elegant Burberry outfits. They all wish it was them up there modelling. Chaeryeong was excited like a little kid in a candy store. The after party was in the building next door. Drinks and socialising and of course food. The ITZY girls stick together and ENHYPEN do too. "So are you going to talk to Jake?" Lia whispers."Maybe later but I don't want to leave my girls yet" Ryujin replies. "Well I think you should" Lia said. "What are you two gossiping about?" Yeji said. "Nothing" Ryujin replies. "Ryujin has a...." Lia said. Ryujin covered Lia's mouth so she couldn't say anything else. "Ryujin has a crush" Yuna said. "Nah. Lia's just being silly" Ryujin denies. The girls laugh. Jake wanted to talk to Ryujin but he was feeling a bit too shy. Ryujin didn't want to tell the other girls about her crush on Jake. She finally decides to go and talk to Jake. "Hey" she said. "Hi, Ryujin" he smiles. "Did you enjoy the fashion show, Jakey?" she asks. "Yes I did. It was great" he replies. "So yeah you may have seen my eyes drifting over to you a few times" Ryujin says not really knowing what to say. "Yeah haha" Jake laughs. "You should get yourself a drink or me" she said. "I'm good thanks, Ryujin but nice of you to come up to me. I was going to talk to you when I had a minute" Jake said. "Jake, we should hangout more you know. I would really like that" Ryujin said. "Yeah sure. If we ever get time off" he replies. "I'm sure we'll make time" she said. "Oh yeah. You're a great girl, Ryujin" Jake smiles. She takes his hand and drags him in a friendly way. Ryujin and Jake spend a bit of time together. He feels more confident when talking to him. The girls saw them together so they guessed who she has a crush on

Ryujin and Jake have been hanging out a bit more over the last couple of months. They've only been hanging when they've got time and they are not busy with their lives and careers. Jake is starting to develop feelings for Ryujin after spending more time with her and getting to know her better. He has always secretly liked her a bit but always hidden it from her. Jake is not as shy now that he's started hanging out with Ryujin more. She is bringing him out of his shell around girls. ITZY are working hard on new things. Jake is going to the studio to surprise Ryujin this afternoon. He is surprising her with some beautiful flowers. He knows that she likes flowers. He is a little embarrassed to walk in the studio in front of the girls so he's going to wait until Ryujin is on her own to give her the flowers. Jake arrives at the JYP studio and takes a seat in the waiting area. He is a bit shy to give Ryujin the flowers as he's never given a girl anything between. About 20 minutes later Ryujin walks into the entrance with Chaeryeong. "Jake, hey" she said. "Hi, Ryujin. Thought I would pop in" he said. "Ohhhh you got someone flowers. I wonder who" Chaeryeong said walking away. "Maybe me" Ryujin said. "Yes you would be right. Here you go" Jake said handing Ryujin the flowers. "Thank you, Jake. That's so sweet of you" she smiles. "So are you free after practice? If not it's okay" he said. "Yes i will be for a bit. Was just going to get dinner with the girls but it's okay they won't mind" Ryujin replies. "Alright are you sure" Jake replies. "Yes it's all good. Don't worry" she replies. "Okay I'll see you later, Ryujin and we can do something. You decide. I'll come by yours" he said. "Sure sounds great" she smiles pulling Jake in for a hug. Ryujin and Jake will look forward to seeing each other later

Ryujin goes home to get ready for going out with Jake and he is waiting outside for her to be ready and they will go out somewhere to eat. Jake has somewhere in mind to take Ryujin. She is ready and goes outside. She needed a shower before she even thought about going out. "Hey. I'm here. Sorry to keep you" Ryujin said. "It's fine. Let's go" Jake said as they jump into the cab. "So where are we going to eat?" Ryujin asks. "Somewhere in town I guess but we can do something else if you want" Jake replies. "No it sounds good" she smiles. Ryujin and Jake arrive at the restaurant soon and get a table. Hope they won't get recognised here as people might jump to dating conclusions. "So were the girls jealous you were hanging out with me tonight?" Jake asks. "No they weren't actually. They thought it was nice" Ryujin replies. "They did" he said. "Yes. Chaeryeong was funny earlier when she saw the flowers you got for me" she said. "She probably thought they were for her. I don't like her in that way. I like y....." Jake said. "Oh. Chae is a cutie with a great sense of humour" Ryujin laughs. Not knowing what Jake was going to say. They smiled at each other from across the table and ordered their food. "So tell me who do you like? Someone else of me. I'll tell you who I like, Jakey boy" Ryujin said. "No one" he replies. "Oh it must be someone. Is she sitting right in front of you? Me?" she said. "Okay fine. It's you, Ryujin. I like you" Jake said. "In that way. Hmmm I have a crush on you" Ryujin said. "Yeah me too.  A crush" he laughs. "You're so funny, Jake and cute too" she replies. Jake blushes in front of Ryujin. He kinda told her that he has a crush on her and she has a crush on him too. They will have to see where it goes but they had a nice dinner together tonight

It's a few weeks later and Ryujin and Jake are growing closer together again. Yes they are definitely getting closer and closer to each other. They already admitted they had a crush on each other but Ryujin thinks they are ready to take it to the next level. She wants to ask Jake to be her boyfriend like asking him out in a way. She doesn't know if she'll be being too forward and forcing a relationship with Jake. Ryujin and Jake are hanging out tonight at the ITZY place. The other girls have gone out. They decided to vacate the house for Ryujin to have a movie night as they have been talking about it for a while now. Jake has been over for about half an hour or so and they are watching Spider-Man now. Ryujin ordered pizza for them on their movie night. Both of them love some delicious pizza. Jake's eyes were drifting over and looking at Ryujin. She caught him looking at her and says "Aye I can see you looking at me". Jake laughs. They carry on watching Spider-Man. "Another movie" Ryujin said. "Sure you decide" Jake replies. She chose The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, her favourite movie. "I've never seen this before" Jake said. "It's my favourite. You'll like it. Trust me" Ryujin replies. They watch the movie together and get a little sleepy towards the end. Jake fell asleep on Ryujin's shoulder. "Wake up, sleepy" she said. "Oh hey" he said. "So our movie night was fun. Ha" she said. "Yep it was. I enjoyed it" Jake yawns. "Jakey, stay a minute please" she said. "Okay" he replies. Ryujin looks at Jake and says "Jake, I think we got something special going on. I can see you've changed since you've started hanging out with me. Like you seem more confident like me. I've liked you for a while because you're cute. Not only that but you're also a really sweet guy who I enjoy spending time with". "Ryu, you're an amazing girl and my type. I enjoy spending time with you. I like how you are confident and assertive. That's how you got my attention in the first place. You're the coolest chick I know" Jake replies. "Hey. I am. Jake, I don't want to come off too strong but yeah like I said we do have something so will you be my boyfriend" Ryujin said. Jake had to think for a second. "Yes I would love to be, Ryujin" he said. "Now no more shy boy. Let me kiss you" Ryujin said. "I'm not shy anymore thanks to you" he said. Ryujin pulls Jake in and kisses him on the lips. They kiss for a minute and enjoy it. Ryujin has helped Jake develop his confidence around girls and they are now together

A/ N: Ryujin and Jake would be a good couple. I can see Jake being a little bit of a shy boy. Is JakeJin or RyuJa a better ship name for them? I like JakeJin. I thought I'd do an imagine based on Not Shy for Ryujin as it's a great song and I think her era
