When I see me in the mirror

I can not see Me

I'm not the old Me

This me, is not the Me I know

I know the Me who never wanted to see the mirror

I remember the Me, who did not have many friends

I know the Me who never had a full smile

I know the Me who never judged people

I know the Me who never cared about future

I know the Me who was disgusted by love

I know the Me who was happy with cartoons

I know the Me who cried for grades

I know the Me who was a baby to her parents

I know the Me who did not think twice before speaking

I know the Me who had braids

I know the Me who could not read people

I know the Me, who was pure, untouched

I know the Me who was not in search of meaning

I know the Me, who was secure, but never realised it

I know the Me who never thought that she would write poetry

Even if I know so much about her,

I can not see her

Anymore, anywhere

Even when I try to behave like her,

I can't

She was a pure soul

I deliberately left her

At a far-off dark place

I want her back

But she ain't coming,

For I am a bright, polluted soul
