Steven didn't understand your obsession with his hands, no matter how much you tried to explain why you loved his hands so much, he never understood. His most common response was; "I mean, they're just hands, right? Are they not? It's not like my hands are different to anybody else's? They're just hands darling." You often ended up responding with: "but they are YOUR hands and they ARE different. They're hot." "....w-what?"

You often told Steven that you loved how his hands looked when they were wrapped around a book or turning the pages of a book he was reading. You also expressed how much you adored it when his hands wrapped around a cup of tea or intertwined with your hands. These comments allowed a small blush to coat his face and he often stuttered at his reply - tending to not even get one out. Steven especially went red when you said "I just find them hot. I'm unable to explain why. Your hands are attractive Stevie."

You found that Steven's hands were quite soft at the palm but the fingertips were slightly more rough. The veins coming from his forearm to his hands weren't to obvious, but, when he flexed or wrapped his hand around yours, they become much more visible. Majority of the time, you would end up staring at his hands or gently touching them - this lead to a bright red Steven. Or, you would carefully trace the veins when they showed up: During this time when you were concentrated on the oddly attractive feature, Steven often got the chance to stare at you. With a look of complete love in his eyes.

Even though Steven doesn't understand your obsession, he still (purposefully) holds your hand or certain objects in a certain way to allow you to stare or hold what you find 'hot'.
Yet again, even though Steven doesn't understand you obsession, he doesn't consider you weird or odd for it: Steven also has an obsession - giving your shoulders and arms little pecks/kisses whenever he has the chance, and you love it.
