When we got home, Yeji went to her room while I was at the living room. Unfortunately, our manager's aren't here which made me alone downstairs well, except that the maids are in their own rooms.

I was well aware that tomorrow was Yeji's birthday and I really want to surprise her. I already planned some things since I was able to contact her brother to get a little bit information.

"Hello?"

"Hi, it's me Chaeryeong, hi Hyunjin oppa"

"Oh, hi, do you need anything? Yeji told me you're at the hospital"

"I'm fine, I just want to ask something"

"sure, go on"

"Yeji's birthday is coming soon, I just want to know what you guys usually do on her birthday"

"Birthday? oh well..."

"Why?"

"We don't celebrate our birthdays often, well she doesn't"

"Why?"

"You two probably haven't talked about our parents yet but they were the reasons why Yeji stopped celebrating her birthday"

"Oh"

"I think she also forgotten about it. Last time she celebrated her birthday was the first time she became an artist"

"Did you two have any traditions before? Like when you were kids?"

"We used to go to the park sometimes, also we get tteokboki and some other snacks she likes. Other than that, I guess none"

"Oh okay, thank you so much Hyunjin oppa, I owe you a lot"

"No problem, get well soon tho"

"I will"

After watching at the living room, I went up to go to Yeji's room. I don't know if I should call it OUT room yet since Yeji did said we'll be sharing the house now.

"Baby?" I called for her, wanting to check if she was still awake

I peaked through the door and saw her on the bed using her phone, scrolling. I went towards her, just peaking at what she's looking at.

"Is there something wrong love?" she asked me, I was just standing at the side

"What's that?" I asked her

"Just some articles, but don't worry, you don't have to see it anyways" she said and then puts her phone on the nightstand.

"Who is it about then?" I asked

"Um... well it was actually about me and Lia, the media figured how we broke up and the reason of it" she said and sighed

"You don't need to tell me everything if you don't want to baby, I'll respect your decisions as well" I said and she pulled me towards her to straddle her lap. My legs were on either side of her and she placed her hands on my waist, caressing it softly.

"It's okay baby, I just wanted to forget about it. Thank you" she said and I smiled softly at her

"You know that I love you and I'll always take care of you right?" I said to her and she nodded
