I played the keyboard of my pc well as my game of Valorant is reaching victory
"GG's guys, are you guys down to spend the night grinding ranked games?" I asked as the icon that said Victory appeared on the screen "Not a bad idea, it's a friday night anyway" My friend Baekhyun mentioned "That's the plan then, I'll bring food to my desk first" Heechul said as he mutes his mic in the group call "I guess, your girlfriend isn't hanging out with you tonight?" Baekhyun suddenly talked "I don't have a girlfriend, what do you mean?" I asked, confused "The girl you bring to play with valorant sometimes- Don't tell me Y/n, you brought her to your apartment and you're not even dating yet?" Baekhyun asked with the sound of realization "Oh you meant Nayeon? No, I'm not dating her and wasn't going to" I replied sternly "Y/n, you sound insincere right now" Heechul came back "It's true, she's just a close friend of mine" I explained "Dude, I know we are only friends through the internet and valorant, but you talk about her a lot" Baekhyun pointed out "The phrase 'Nayeon and I' is like the introduction you always do when we talk about real life. Seems like you enjoy a lot of things with her" Heechul added "Ehh.That can't be true, we barely meet nowadays. Plus she has a boyfriend right now and it's not me" I explained "I mean you've been friends with her for like 10 years. That's what you said?" Heechul said, unsure "Yep, we met when we were 15, around the 9th grade" I cleared up his unsure statement "Then you might have been a fool for 10 years straight. Because you haven't tried to date her. Aish Pabo-ya" Baekhyun pointed out "It's not like I haven't tried-" My words were cutted by a call from my phone
The phone continues to ring. I checked it and the name was there. It was Nayeon
"Nayeon is calling, I have to take this" I told the guys and removed my headphones "Y/n-ah" Nayeon called out "Nayeon, what's up?" I asked "Let's drink, I'm at 7-11 near my house" Nayeon offered, hinting that she's already drinking with the sound of her voice "I'm kinda busy sorry. But maybe I'll catch up" I turned down the offer even though I wanted it "Sure, but I won't be waiting for you" Nayeon's voice suddenly broke before she put down the call
I clicked my tongue, she must be crying about something
"Nayeon is Drinking and I think she's upset about something" I bit my lip trying to figure it out as I talked with the guys again "Cancel the que now" Baekhyun mentioned, the long game que was cancelled "What, why?" I asked confused "You should go dude, we can play another day instead" Heechul suggests "Ani, Heechul-hyung. I'm good. She's 25, I think she can handle drinking alone" I replied "Maybe she can, but you. You can't stand letting her drink alone while she is upset" Baekhyun made a great point "If I'm being completely honest with you, I think this might be your chance with her" Heechul added "Baekhyun-hyung how can you side with him- Yaish. Fine, I'm going. But I'm going because you told me to.Good luck in your games" I sighed, letting them win "Don't blame us, you're going because you want to anyway. Good luck with Nayeon"
