"Uh tia, can I talk to you?" I stopped at the door on my way out being the last one to leave and turned around to him apologising

"Yeah, I'm sorry for calling you out. I didn't think anyone heard"

"It's okay, I actually have good hearing so that's cool"

"Yeah" I whispered standing there awkwardly

"I feel protective over you, like a sister. Is that weird?" I didn't want to answer that but for some reason I started talking

"A bit, you've seen me before and you've never said that before" I closed my mouth once I realised what I said

"That's a nice necklace. Where did you get it?"

"Some guy. I met, his names Elijah" I smiled looking at it and his face changed

"Elijah. Who?"

"I don't know his surname but you know him. You were the one that daggered him. He gave it to me when I put my hand on the dagger. It allowed me to see him cause we're soulmates and he gave me this"

"So are you going to the dance?" bonnie asked me and I shook my head sitting down on a table with her and Elena

"What? Why?"

"Cause i don't have anyone to go with" I said

"Well is there anyone you want to go with?"

"Elijah" I whispered
"I want to go with Elijah" her face saddened for a moment

"I'm sorry" she apologised but I was quick to assure her there was nothing anyone could do about it

"So we go to the dance and find him" Damon said

"Really? How are we gonna do that? We don't know what he looks like"

"well something tells me he's not going to be 16 and pimply"

"He could be anywhere at any time. He compelled somebody at school"

"this is not as safe as you guys thought huh?"

"I would like to make it clear" I said holding my hand up
"none of this was my idea I just go along with whatever you guys tell me" a knock on the door was heard and Alaric walked in

"There you are" he shut the door behind him and walked inside

"Sorry I'm late"

"I need you to put me down as a chaperone at the dance tonight. Klaus has made his first move"

Elena: "okay so we find him and then what? Hm? What's our plan of attack?"

"Me" everyone looked to Bonnie
"I'm the plan. He has no idea how much power I can channel. If you can find him I can kill him" Alaric laughed slightly

"Well it's not gonna be that easy. I mean he's the biggest baddest vampire around"
