Sasha never really liked highschool parties. They were full of frat boys and drunk girls trying to get laid. Then again, she never really liked anything anymore. After leaving Amphibia and Marcy moving away, things weren't too great. Doesn't help that Anne started talking to the tennis team more than her. I mean you save a world with someone and then you just drift apart? What the hell?? Anyways, for some reason today felt different, after getting an invite to Brady's party, Sasha feels like there's something waiting there for her. Something to find again, she just doesn't know what.

"Yo, Sash!" Connie, Sashas former best friend and skateboard goddess, yells sprinting at Sasha at a speed even a cheetah can't beat. Sasha can't help but jump at the sudden words.

"What's up, Connie?" Sasha asks, giving a slight smile.

"Did you get an invite to Brady's party?" Connie urges basically jumping up and down. Sasha smiles, she can't help it. She might hide it, but she has a little bit of a crush on Connie

"Yea, I did, why?" Sasha asks

"GUESS WHOS GOING!" Connie screams

"The only person you would be this excited for, Lucy" Sasha says, rolling her eyes

"YEA!! This is my chance to make a move on the love of my life!" Connie exclaims, dramatically swooning

"Connie, you call every girl who even looks in your direction the 'love of your life'" Sasha mutters, looking away

"Whatever, you're going tonight" Connie says, turning Sasha's face back to her

"Ugh, fine just this one time" Sasha grimaces, the thought of watching guys play beer pong for 5 hours doesn't exactly sound ideal. Then again, maybe Annes going.

"Hurry up and get ready Sash, the party starts at 8 and it's already 7:40" Connie urges from the doorframe of Sasha's bedroom.

"Im hurrying" Sasha says, slowly getting up from her bed before running around her room searching for clothes. Just the fact that Anne might be there is enough for Sasha to want to go all out. Well the most 'out' she could go in 20 minutes.

By 7:53 Sasha was ready in a black leather jacket, blue tank top, black pants, and black Doc Martens.

"Damn Sasha, you clean up nice." Connie exclaimed, and Sasha could swear she saw a hint of blush creeping up her cheeks. "Alright, let's go," Connie said quickly, clapping her hands together. Sasha was in her own world the whole car ride. Thoughts of Anne coming in and out of her mind. Man, she wishes she's at this party.

They arrived at 8:05 and the place was already full to the brim. Honestly, Sasha was having second thoughts but the thought that Anne might be somewhere in that house kept her walking into the house. The second they got in Connie dragged Sasha to the dance floor, or, the living room filled with cheap LEDS. Sasha could see Connie scanning the crowd for Lucy, man she was inlove with that girl.

"There she is!" Connie says excitedly pointing to a short girl dancing her heart out to GUY.exe by Superfruit.

"Go talk to her." Sasha says, pushing Connie towards the girl.

"No, I couldn't...actually." Connie says, smirking.

"Actually what?" Sasha asks

"I'll talk to Lucy, if you talk to her" Connie declares, pointing Sasha in the direction of a brunette with the same old messy hair. Sasha can feel her face turn bright red. She's really here.

"You wouldn't" Sasha barks, turning towards Connie

"I would," Connie responds, walking towards Anne.

"CONNIE NO" Sasha screams, but she's too late. Before Sasha knows it, Connies pulling Anne by the hand towards her. fuck fuck fuck

"Uh....hey" Anne mutters, looking down

"Hi" Sasha replies, the awkward tension rising by the minute. "Listen, I don't know why we drifted, after everything that happened, but I wish that we didn't." Sasha practially rapped.

"Yea, it's honestly weird, and I agree, I wish we didn't." Anne returned, looking up, meeting Sashas eyes.

"Sooooo..I'm Connie! Aka Sashas current BFF" Connie yelled

"Oh, aren't you that girl who has a thing for Lucy Connors?" Anne says, turning her attention to Connie

"HOW DO YOU KNOW?" Connie screams loud enough for Jesus himself to hear.

"Dude, everyone knows, and I don't know, but I heard she likes you back." Anne says, winking. Connie blushes, glancing over at Lucy.

"I'm going to uphold my end of the deal." Connie says, giving Sasha a pat on the back and walking towards Lucy.

"Well Sasha, i've got to go but, you should text me sometime, please." Anne says

"Yea, i'll do that." Sasha responds, blushing once again threatening to show up.

"Well see ya" Anne says, waving goodbye

"Bye" Sasha returns. Anne begins to walk away. but turns around and tackles Sasha into a bear hug.

"Man, i've missed you '' Anne whispers into Sasha's shoulder. Sasha smiles and returns the energy of the hug. Yea she's definitely going to text her later.
