How they'd handle criticism from teachers (& authority figures in general)

Spruce: Obviously none of the criticism is correct, because if it is, then that means Spruce is a horrible, disgraceful person that shouldn't create anything ever! He's received praise before, which proves that he isn't a disgraceful person and he should create things, so obviously any criticism he received is invalid. Any criticism, even from authority figures, slides off the guy like butter.

Ginkgo: Ginkgo would get really defensive really quickly while trying to play it off at the same time. probably idk i haven;t fully fleshed ginkgo out yet

Maple: They'll take it with a straight face, then go home and cry for several minutes. Criticism from kids is easy to handle, but authority figures of any kind supposedly make better judgement

Sycamore: Sycamore's had several not ideal experiences with teachers and school in general, so he's a bit detached from whatever academic criticism they'd receive. Criticism would genuinely not matter at all to them, unless it's from a teacher he genuinely cares about, in which case he'd put on a stoic face and try to disguise how much it stings.

Elm: She's got her shit together the most out of all of them, so she'd probably try to use it to improve herself. It would still hurt, but she;d also conceal it pretty easily. If it's a teacher she disagrees with, she'd make a conscious decision to simply not take it.
