You apologize but it's too late
she has moved on now don't regret
the past had spines which you rooted
and her tears only nurtured it
she was at fault
the trust was always at stake
but the tears broke out when you said sorry
the past glory retained
so apologizing is an act, literally
it is an act
and you are a good actor!
