As Steven tapped against the wheel, listening to a familiar song called.. "Let Me Drive My Van Into Your Heart.." Steven tapped on his phone, that was on a phone stand on the dashboard
His Bestfriend and Girlfriend! came on the screen, she was studying on her desk, her eyes lit up once saw Steven on the phone
"Steven! Are you near Beach City?" asked Connie, dropping her stacks of books "Oops.." Steven chuckled, looking at the scene around him
"Yep! I already can see the board walk from here!" Steven exclaimed, looking ahead
"Well! I'll try to finish early so I can head to your house!" said Connie, picking up the books on the floor, writing on a piece of paper
"So how are the Gems?" asked Steven, looking at the screen
"Great! Bismuth and Pearl have been going out! Sadie and the Suspects are getting more and more popular! And Amethyst won alot of hotdog competitions!" Connie started going on and on about what's been going on, Steven listening to every word
"Ehe, sorry.. Am i rambling? How about you? What's been going on?" asked Connie, sipping a cup of coffee
"It's fine! But It's been great! Me and Karen have been talking alot! And I've met a few other people, and Connie! The food in that diner i told you about? was so good!" said Steven
"Sounds awesome!" exclaimed Connie, Steven looked forward
"Sorry Connie! I'm getting closer! See ya later?" said Steven, hovering his finger over the end call button
"Alright! Uh.." Connie thought for a moment, realising her cheeks are getting warmer
"Love you!" Connie ended the call after blurted out
Steven blushed, smiling "Love you too.."
Steven drove the car onto the beach, parking the car infront of the house, looking up at the house, taking his bag from the passenger seat
Getting out of the car, slamming the door behind him, as he stepped onto the stairs, holding onto the hand rail, taking out his keys to the house from his pocket
Once he opened the door, he rested his bag on the sofa
"Hmm.. I wonder where the gems are?" thought Steven, checking his phone
"9:56? Amethyst should be at baseball practice!" exclaimed Steven, running out the house
A Few Minutes Later..
As Steven arrived at Little Homeschool, he saw a few gems playing Baseball, when his eyes met Amethysts
Amethyst ran towards Steven
"STEEEEEEEVEEEEEEENNN!"
"AMETHYST!"
Amethyst started running so fast, flames rose, Steven backed away, and the ran from Amethyst, but he was too slow, both of them crashed on some crates filled with pots
"Owh.." Steven groaned as he rubbed the back of his head, but Amethyst picked him up, lifting him up in the air
"Dude! I didn't know you were coming today!" exclaimed, Amethsyt let him down "Yeah! Sorry! I forgot to tell you.."
"Dude! guess what! I won so much money from my hotdog contests! And we are building a Stadium!" Amethyst waved her hands in the air like she just don't care.
Steven nervously laughed as Amethyst went on and on, when It started to get dark, the two went back to the House, where they saw a red and blue figure..
" Ruby! Sapphire! " yelled Steven, Amethyst grinning
" Steven! " the two small gems screamed in unison, running towards him
"You're back! And you're even more cute!" Sapphire squealed, Ruby frantically nodded, "Yeah! Yeah!"
"Tell us all about your trip!" Sapphire asked
"Hah.. Okay Okay! Let's go inside now.."
