it had been about another week since your day off with steven and marc, which means you now have four more stuffed animals to add to your collection.

you now had 8, those being taweret, anubis, hathor, khonshu, osiris, isis, nephthys, and horus.

'only a couple more days of school' you excitedly think to yourself. you couldn't wait for summer, which was unusual since you dreaded it before you met steven, marc, jake, and khonshu.

you were excited to just spend time with them, they had brought light into your life and you were grateful to have them all as friends. and now you have casper too, which was refreshing to have an actual reason to actually want to go to school.

you were on your way back home from school now, casper still walking with you after he offered to walk you home, claiming his doctors office was the same way you were going.

"yeah, so i just have to get surgery at some point" casper shrugs from beside you, both hands hanging onto the straps of his backpack, opposed your yours that are in your pockets.

"are you gonna be okay?" you ask him, genuinely worried until he smiled and waved you off. "oh yeah, i'll be fine." he assures you.

you soon approach your building, and you can already see khonshu waiting in the elevator. you sigh and turn to casper. "this is me" you point to the building.

"oh alright, i'm not going too far from here" casper shrugs. "have a nice night- Y/N DON'T MOVE!" he suddenly shouts, and you freeze not knowing what was happening.

"don't panic. there's a spider on you" casper says, tense and staring wide eyed at what you think is your neck. "where is it?" you ask, and he points to his own neck, almost right under your jaw on the left side.

"okay, stay still, 'm gonna grab it" casper whispers, getting closer and slowly reaching a hand to your neck when all of a sudden, you feel a slight tickle, then a pinch making you jump and fling the spider off yourself.

you put a hand to where it bit you and winced. "hey? are you okay?" casper asks, and you see khonshu moving towards you from the elevator, so you motion for him to stay put while casper looks around for the spider.

you let out a sharp breath and take your hand off your neck, wincing again as you feel it throb.

"bad spider! at least take her out to dinner first!" casper yells at the spider on the ground, making you laugh, and casper looks back to you. "well are you alright? seriously" he asks you.

"yep, it'll be fine." you say, and casper nods. "alright, well i'm going to be late so i gotta go" he says, starting to walk backwards.

"call me when you're done!" you exclaim, as casper is now almost running backwards.

"i will! see ya tomorrow!" he finishes, sprinting away as you walk into the building.

"what did that mortal do to you?" khonshu immediately asks. you scoff and move past him into the elevator. "he didn't do anything. a spider bit me, its no big deal" you press the button, leaving khonshu in the lobby knowing damn well he can just phase through the floor.

you get off the elevator once it hit your floor, and made your way to your door before unlocking it and stepping inside and tossing your bag on the floor.
