It was past eight when the two had their dinner. Like before, they exchanged food while talking about their day. Magkaharap sila at parehas may ngiti ang mga labi.
"This coming week will be our last week in our working immersion."
Akuji was enjoying his food while listening to Raele. "Ang bilis." he commented.
Tumango si Raele. "Yeah. I enjoyed and learned a lot."
Lumayo ang tingin ni Akuji kay Raele nang maalala ang mga naging karanasan nila habang nagtatrabaho. Napasimangot siya. "I rarely saw you."
Natigil ang pagsubo ni Raele ng kanin, "it's natural." muli niyang pinagpatuloy ang pagkain.
Mas napanguso si Akuji. "I hated it."
"Well, this is real life." kibit-balikat ng kaniyang kasintahan.
"Raele!" tila batang atungal ni Akuji.
Natawa si Raele. "Akuji, you have to accept that this is the reality. Not all the time we can be together; talk or just see each other."
"Aren't you missing our old times?"
Muling Natawa si Raele, "old? The way you said it seems like we've been together for more than a decade."
"We are." seryosong bigkas ni Akuji. "I mean, I'm not talking about the time. I'm pertaining to the feelings and memories we had together. It feels eternity."
Napatitig sa kaniya ni Raele habang nangingiti. "Yeah," he agreed softly. "The time with you feels like eternity."
They stared at each other lovingly. "But I still hate the thought that we'll be like this when we graduate college. I don't want that." nguso ni Akuji.
Saglit na natigilan si Raele. 'He's so sure that we'll still be together by that time... Ah, my heart is warming.' Raele felt his surroundings float as savour the warm feeling embracing him. Lumaki ang kaniyang ngiti. "What do you want to do about it then?"
"I want us to build a cafe or a restaurant in TK someday." mabilis na sagot ni Akuji.
Namilog ang mga mata ni Raele. "I love that. We will design the walls with our pictures!"
Akuji chuckled. "We will."
Raele was so touched that he didn't know what to say or ask except, "What... will be its name?"
Napaisip si Akuji. "I haven't thought about it yet. You have in mind?"
Umiling si Raele. "No. I just simply love the idea, Akuji. Let's do it right after we graduate college."
"I can't wait."
"I could imagine it right now."
"Let's plan it together."
Sabik na tumango si Raele. "Let's think about what will it be first. A Cafe or a resto?"
"You're more into baking, right?"
"Yup,"
Napangisi si Akuji. "I excel in baking than cooking. So it's obvious,"
"Cafe, it is!" Raele exclaimed.
They both laughed.
"Let's think of its name."
"Hmm, how about your name?"
Natawa si Akuji. "Actually, the first thing I thought was your name."
Namilog ang mga mata ni Raele. "Wow. We thought the same."
