Today I was going home it has been weeks since I found out I was a shape shifter meant to protect the tribe along with my three best friends Sam Uley, Paul Lahote and Jared Cameron , I had been staying with Paul as Sam and Emily didn't have enough room in there small little cabin, Paul's house was cozy I slept on the couch, anyway I got up at 7:00 am and went to go take a shower and washed my hair with my cucumber shampoo and conditioned it out with my mango conditioner then I washed everything else, after my shower I turned the water off got my towel , wrapped it around my body and went to the spare room to change clothes

I went to the kitchen to make some pancakes, eggs and bacon for breakfast -
Paul s pov
I woke up at 8:00 am due to the smell of breakfast cooking , I remembered I let my best friend Natalie stay with me because she had shifted into her wolf to say the boys and I were surprised that she did this was understandable I mean she is one of the grandkids of Ephraim black and one of the daughters of billy Black the head council man. I got up out of bed and put on some pants and I went downstairs to my kitchen I heard music coming from the kitchen , so I walked towards the kitchen and leaned on the wall to watch my best friend cook I smiled
"So are you excited to be going to see Jacob and Billy" I asked she jumped
"Paul don't do that" she said annoyed a little she threw a towel at me I chuckled as I went to her and sat on the counter
"Yeah I am, Paul I just wanted to thank you" she said as she looked in my eyes
"For what?" I said
"Three things, one is being my best friend, two for letting me stay here and three" she took a deep breath as I already knew what she was going to say
"Hey, it's ok you're my best friend, and after I shifted I never left your side neither did Sam or Jared we were really protective over you and the tribe so it's ok" I said to her and I wiped a few tears from her eyes she nodded
"God I hate crying, anyways I made pancakes, bacon and eggs" she said as she handed me my plate
"As for your question earlier I'm excited to see dad, Jacob not so much, ever since Isabella came back he has a stick up her ass " she said
"Can I ask you a question" I asked as she was eating
"Of course you can Paul" she told me
"What if you meet your imprint and forget about me, Jared, Sam and Emily" I ask her
"Thats impossible you guys are like my second family, if I met my imprint I will be overjoyed yes but I could never forget my three best friends, what if you imprint Paul" she asks
"I don't want one if it meant I hurt her like Sam did Emily" I say
"Hey you won't hurt her, we all deserve a chance at love even you mister hothead" she tells me I chuckle as I put my plate in the sink as she washes and I dry the dishes - Nat s pov again
As I got done with the dishes and talking to Paul I grabbed my keys off the counter and my helmet , went outside with Paul I smirked as I saw my motorcycle got on it , started it up and looked at Paul "do you need a lift to Sam's " I asked
"Nah I'm good I have my own bike" he smirked I smiled as I left to go see my dad
As I got home I parked my motorcycle by the house, got off took my helmet off and walked to the front door I then opened it and saw dad sat in the living room on the couch, I walked over to him and sat between his legs Like I used to when I was a small child
"Hello princess" dad said to me in his deep voice he had lost his wolf during the car crash that costed him his legs and my mother Sarah black
Growing up it was hard for my two older sister Rachel and Rebecca so they moved out one to Hawaii and the other I don't know This only left dad, Jacob and I to take care of eachother.
Jacob and I were only five when our mother died, so we didn't have alot of memories with her, but dad would tell us about her Everytime we asked him
Then we found out after the car crash dad has diabetes which also costed him to use of his legs during all that happened I still loved my dad as did Jacob and dad loved us
"Nat" dad called as he looked into my eyes
"Yes" I said as I shook my head
"Are you ok" he asked me
"Yeah I'm fine , I just wish mom was here and Rachel and Rebecca" I said
"I know sweetie so do I" dad said
Just then my twin came downstairs
"Natalie" Jacob said I looked at him and waved
"Haven't seen you in weeks why have you come back now" he asked
"Jacob" dad warned as he could see my anger raising a bit , just like Paul anything said or done sets me off
"I came back to see dad, got a problem with that" I said through gritted teeth
"Embry said you were in a gang " he said
"You really shouldn't believe everything you hear Jacob, especially from Embry, that kid has no idea what hes talking about and neither do you" I was getting frustrated
"Well I'm going to the garage to work on the rabbit ok dad" he said
"Alright Jacob" dad said then Jacob left and I turned to dad
"Would it be ok if I went to go see uncle Charlie" I asked
"Of course sweetheart,, tell him I said hi" dad said as I got up and grabbed my keys again
"I will, if you need anything call me or call Jake ok" I said as I kissed dad's cheek.
"Ok sweetie" dad said as I left out of the house, got back on my motorcycle and drove down the road to go see uncle Charlie
