The following text is an excerpt from a diary entry written by Ethan under the requests of his doctors within the psychiatric ward:
"The doctors said writing about my day would give them information about the hallucinations and stuff, but in all honesty I think it's stupid. But I mean the doctors said it'll help so here I am. So I guess I should start writing about the shit that happened today. Obviously one of the reasons I'm here is because of hallucinations caused by the minor brain damages I got in the accident, but I overheard the doctors discussing something.... Odd. Apparently I did something really bad that got me landed here. Something about some weird symbol that I'd been caught cutting into my palm. Something even stranger was that I don't remember doing anything like that. I guess maybe I'd blacked out or something? I don't know but something weird is going on. And that's saying a lot considering my life does tend to get weird in general"
