It was a time when princess was going to go to her first dance, well...her first face was in elementary school for a father-daughter/mother-son dance but that's a story for another day.
It all started in October 1, it was fall, leaves were falling and Diane was picking up princess.
It was the 6th grade of middle school, she came out wearing this:

With black long boots, she got in the front.
"Hey princess how was school" Diane asked.
"Oh the usual, it was okay" but when she puts her backpack down, a yellow flyer flew out.
Diane noticed it and picks it up before princess could grab it back.
"What's this" she read on the flyer: fall dance this upcoming weekend.
"Oh it's a dance the school is having, the theme is fall colors" princess says.
"Oh are you going"
"Well Eddie did ask me to come with him"
Oh and did you say yes" Diane days as she looks intrigued.
"Actually I told him no because I was going to be busy"
Then Diane makes a shocked face, "what? why" she asked.
"Diane I would love to go to the dance but I don't think that wolf or the others would let me go"
"Princess you're eleven now, you're old enough to make your own choices"
"Yeah but you know wolf and snake, how protective they are, especially snake"
"Tell you what I'll talk to them about letting you go"
"Really you do that" princess lifts up.
"Of course, they'll listen to me, I'm sure they won't say-"
"NO!" Both snake and wolf yelled.
Diane was shocked by them, "why not"
"Because it's almost close to Halloween and ever since she was little, she watched horror movies with us and she's not old enough to go to-ugh, dances" snake hissed.
"She's old enough to go, she's a big girl now"
"She's not going and that's finally" snake hissed again.
"Who gives you the right to tell her where she can and can't go"
