A little boy came back to the shore of the sea, his once red wagon full of colourful rocks and seashells now empty
Dragging the wagon, the wheels of the crimson toy squeeked and made thumps through the rocky sands
His (hair colour) hair now tied to a small ponytail, due to it sticking to his face because of sweat and the hot weather
"I'm back! Sorry to keep you guys waiting!"
The little boy exclaimed lightly yet excitedly, not to scare away his potential new friends
On the other hand, the two merkids stared at the boy's arrival in fear, not helping that he has brought a wagon, in fear that he might do something
Especially since michikatsu's tail is ripped and injured
Being a mystical yet unknown and unexplored creatures, both of them has been in and out of boats, some greedy to sell them, some was about to put them in a cell and run tests on them
Both of them still on guard, yoriichi about to bring his injured brother and swim away to escape
(M/n)'s head tilted in confusion, they didn't growl at him this time, maybe they've learned to like him now?
"Ookay! Let me just-"
the boy beamed as he tried picking up michikatsu, thingking of putting him in the wagon since he's injured, finallu aware that michikatsu was much more heavier than he looked
"Woahh- s-sorry there grumpy! I didn't think you would weight this much!"
The boy sweatdropped as he gently throwed the raven into the wagon, giving the merboy a little nicknane which he frowns to
Yoriichi looked at his brothee in worry, his claws out, ready to pounce incase (m/n) tried something to his brother, not caring about himself
Picking up yoriichi, the human boy winced as he piggy back ride the merboy, his back slightly hurting from the little fish's weight
"Alright! Lets go!"
The boy screamed, his toothy grin showing as he ran and dragged the wagon, michikatsu's nail holding the wagon tightly, his claws piercing the material
Yoriichi gripped (m/n) holding the boy, his claws sinking slightly into the boy's back, blood seeping through his shirt, yet the human boy didn't mind (did he eveb feek it?-)
With (m/n)'s speed picking up, yoriichi bit the boy's shoulder in fear, michikatsu closed his eyes tightly, the cold wind blowin the three of their hairs magestically
The merkids glanced back, seeing how the ocean shore seems to smallen as they go further far from their 'home'
"Don't worry! I promise to bring you guys back to the sea tommorow morning! Right once we wake up! Pinky promise!"
(M/n) said, smiling widely, his eyes squinted friendly, as he soon looked front again, going to his beach house
Unknown to they boy, the merkid's eyes widen slightly at the sight of such a beautiful smile, kind and honest
For some reason, they placed their trust into the smile the boy gave as their clawful grip loosened lightly
Not soon, a light green wooden house appeared, the stands sinking in the dry stand, the windows decorated with seashells, a beautiful yet simple white curtain covering from the inside
Soon, (m/n) places down the hilt of the red wagon, deciding to bring both of the fish children up in his house, not forgetting their weight
Opening the door first before going back down the wood stairs to michikatsu, ready to pick him up bridal style
'Alright.. one.. two..'
Michikatsu soon was lifted off the wagon, now in (m/n)'s arms as the merkid desperately grips onto the boy's arms to steady himself
"THREE!"
And he soon walked in with 2 new fishes to cook-i mean to be friends with, going up the stairs and to the bathroom, placing them in the bathtub as he rans outside to close the door
"..."
"..."
"Aughsmahsgha..?"
"Hgna... shmahahauga.."
Both of the merkid comunicated, with yoriichi asking the question as michikatsu answered defeatedly
"I'm back!"
(M/n) rushes in and locked the bathroom door, just incase since his family members are usually out, he fears they might come to suprise him
A scratching noise came from the outside of the wooden door, some small woofs and barks could be heard
"Ah! Sorry about that! My dog saw the treats! Anyways, about the rip in your tail grumpy, i was thingking-"
As (m/n) placed the dog treat on the counter near the bathtub, yoriichi ate half of the treat
"Hagmhuashuhi..."
Michikatsu's eyes widens
"Hey! That was for-"
Michikatsu soon followed, biting the other half of the dog treat yoriichi offered him, their eyes sparkles at the taste
(M/n) blinked, sweatdropping a little as he kept staring at both of them
"You like dog treats... aren't you guys fishes..?"
The mermaid kids only chewed innocently, sparkles still sparkling around them
The sun soon replaced by the moon.
