My mum told me, if I belived in magic, I would be granted peace with the witches and wizards. Wisps and all, and I still belive they are real to this day. My daughter, Merida, is always speaking of fate, and now I see that I should support her through her time of youth.
Tomorrow is my twenty fifth year being queen, and I take much pride in that. There will be a grand feast at the castle tomorrow, after the huge festival.
Even though my hair is turning gray, and my bones aren't like they were, I still have my family and my kingdom, but it wasn't always like that. Times have changed in the past thirty years, and the kingdom wasn't always this peaceful. Wars came upon our lands, and the prices we had to pay for peace got out of hand, many lives were lost as well.
If you belive in magic, the magic will help you, but be careful with the witches and wizards you assist.
