Alucard got out of bed walking to his window it was dark, dark enough for him to sneak out, he took off his nightgown and put on his formal clothes he knew he would not be able to sneak out of the front or backof the castle the only way was out and down He opened his window causing wind to blow into his room the curtains flapped wildly in the wind as he stepped out slowly finding his balance on the castles edge he guided himself quietly across the castles exterior watching for any holes or pillars blocking his way, The wind was strong,too strong he tried to carefully lower himself onto the first gate a hard gust of wind caused him to lose his footing and fall he hit the ground with a heavy thud knocking the wind out of his lungs, he layed on the ground silently coughing and cursing himself, why did he put so much effort into going to the edge of the woods so late at night he shakily lifted himself up and brushed the dirt off of his clothes and took off towards the forest
