Manik is in the pool of guilt as he thinks he cheat on Soha, he had been insulting Nandini since morning for no reason & she quietly listen everything

Nandini's Pov
Firstly I was going to make breakfast but my hand got little burned by mistake & mom told me not to cook
After waiting for almost 20mins for Manik, he finally come down dressed in a blue tuxedo
Does this guy even fail to look handsome? Anyways I won't talk to him cause he has been insulting me since I woked up for no reason & what happened yesterday wasn't my fault it was his however I loved it🙈
A cook came from the kitchen bringing what she prepared the aroma of the food was amazing & made my stomach rumble
“She is Nainbi, the cook over here”. Mom introduce her
“Hii!”. She said meekly
“Hello! How long have u been working here?”. I ask
“10 years”. She replied
“She Come here at 6 in the morning & leave at 6 at the evening, she is very sincere & is an amazing chief”. Mom said with excitedly
If we are done with the introductions, can we start having breakfast? I can't afford to get late for the work”. Manik said
Why he has to be a mood spoiler, can't he see anyone happy?
I start serving food along with Nainbi
“Plz sit ma'am, I shall serve for all of u”. Nainbi said
“Oh just call me Nandini”. I said
“Yeah Nandini come & sit she will manage”. Neyonika add
Truly irritated by now Manik said. “Don't pamper her too much mom she can't just have the free food over here, let her do somework!”
Hurt mix with anger, my temper just flared
I kept the dish which was in my hand on the table with a thud & quickly start runing upstairs
I really can't tolerate anyone hurting my self respect again & again
“Nandini.. Nandini stop!”. Neyonika said
I stop at the middle of the staircase & look nack at her
“Don't mind about what he says”. She said
“Did I say anything wrong?”. Manik said by lifting one of his eyebrow
I just look at him with anger & ascended the remaining stairs
I came to the room & sat on one of the couches, I held my head B/w my 2hands & start crying
Why does he hate me so much? I know I don't earn anything but I never want any free food, I am willing to work hard if I get a chance but where should I go & work I am just studying ryt now & if I will do part tym job then how will I going to focus on my studies when I have to also handle this house & a jerk husband's taunts
I start crying more
Just then Manik enter the room & saw me crying not minding that I was even there in room he just took his bag & left
After few mins I wipe my tears with the back of my palm just then mom enter the room
“Why did u not havw breakfast with us? U did not even comeback when I ask u to do so”. She said
“I can't eat free food”. I replied her
“Don't be silly Nandini u are our family member now & its not about free food”
“But I can't depend on anyone, I need to earn my own bread”. I said
“Sure u can darling! No one is stoping u from working”. She said politely
talking with me for few mins she also left for her work, leaving me alone & bored! I have to rejoin my college very soon becoz of my marriage I have been missing my college alot & I have to keep notes also cause my exams are soon going to start & I don't want to fail! I have always topped thats my record & I don't want to break it for yhis stupid marriage where I can't even get my husband's love
Evening tym
Manik enter inside Manan room he saw Nandini sleeping cutely on couch. Now, he really didn't mind her for sleeping on couch or siting on bed, but just siting she still can't sleep in same bed as him
Je move inside the washroom & change after few mins when he came he start waking her by calling her name
M :- Nandini getup! Get up u lazy b..
N :- shutup u handsome, idiot, duffer, monster, donkey Malhotra
(She said in sleep to him)
He look at her in amusement
M :- what the hell D... did u just said this all tome? Huh! U little bitch I will kill u!. He said angrily but she didn't respond as she was sleeping peacefully for a min Manik heart melted & he come closer to her & she slap him hard on his cheek again in sleep
