"dad..?" i called my dad, dad's rarely home ever since mom died, it was sad honestly

for dinner, i only had scramble egg and bread since me and my dad is not really that easy people, but ive always been grateful, after school ends im deciding to work as a part time and countinue college at the same time
time skip, saturday, 6am
i woke up early today even though its saturday, but im also glad i made an appointment with the doctor early in the morning, because i want the evening all to myself
its 7:30, i only drank coffee for breakfast, and since huening kai came early he joined the coffee too,,
"hey hue" i started a conversation

"wanna hear a story" i feel like telling him about my thoughts, about my childhood and all.

"when i was around 6, i have to live at the hospital for a couple of years until i was 8, because my lungs is not workin properly, and everyday i have this friend named like hueka or something, u reminded me of him. but suddenly one day, he just dissapeared without saying anything, its really sad honestly because he was my only friend, i dont have any siblings or cousins, i only had my mom and dad, i hope he's still alive and still remember me, he was so kind and cheerful, funny guy. we used to play catch everyday, it was fun really. i spend my childhood at the hospital but i enjoy all the time most of it, because of him." i stated, what a long confession, but really tho ive had this feeling for him for years, and if huening kai is really hueka, i dont know.
"but the point is, if you know him or he looks familiar, please tell me, either he's your sibling, cousin, or somewhat, because even you guys' name is almost the same, or maybe its you?? maybe not, im not sure honestly." i stated again.
"wow, that guy does looks fun" he replied.
"anyway, we gotta go now, its already 8" he said again, i never really thought about it but on our way i asked him again.

time skip, at the hospital, 8:22am.
"what, doc?" i said, i promise its not what it is, please have mercy.
"im sorry miss lee, but im afraid if you dont get a surgery, you can get cancer and die in a few years." the doctor stated.
those last five words, stabbed me right in the heart. what am i going to do?? what if i dont survive?? what will happen to dad?? what about huening, my friends?? what will they think about this?? so many thoughts came through my head, but none of them fit the anwsers. i have to do the surgery.
"i will give you a week for you to think, miss lee, im very sorry."
"no worries doc, i will tell you what it will be as soon as possible." i stated.
"thank you for your understanding, miss lee" he thanked.
"yes, doc, thank you" i said, waving and leaving his room, as it was hueka's turn to check up. i hope he doesnt get the same thing as me, honestly.
"yerin!! how was it??" huening asked as soon as i walked out.
"lets talk about it when you're done, hueka" i stated, he's the one that i need to tell first, not wonrin or dad, he's been the one that has been understanding me, ever since the start.
