The sun beamed down, through my curtains and onto my face. My alarm clock rang, like a warning to wake up. I groaned. I turned to my clock.
'8.31' it read.
I sat up and wiped my weary eyes.

I walked over to my mirror, condensated water trailing down it. I looked like the walking dead, bags under my eyes and rosey-red cheeks.

"Sam!" My sister shouted through my door.

"What!"

"For god sake, me and you need to leave in a minute!"

"Whyyyy" I complained.

"You can't even fucking remember, my god"

"Ugh, I don't give a shit, I'm not getting up!!"

"We want to try and meet Nick Nelson you idiot! "

"Oh shit, yeah."

"Come on!"

"Fine! I'm coming!"

I rushed to my wardrobe and threw on a black t-shirt and leggings.
As I ran downstairs, I grabbed my helmet and my gloves.
I slipped my shoes on and ran out of the door.
My bike was stood outside or the garage, covered in mud from the previous day.

I looked over at Jaimie who was giving me a half-annoyed half-happy grin.

I clipped my helmet under my chin, put my airpods in my ears and waited for my sister.

"Get a move onnn!"
Jaimie pulled her bike, covered in cobwebs out of the garage.

"Jesus Christ!"

"What, Sam?"

"Your bike for fuck sake!"

"Oh yeah, haha, not ridden it in years..."

"Oh great.." I mumbled. I rolled my eyes at Jaimie.

She began peddling. I got on my bike, catching my shin on the pedal in the process and chased her up the hill from our house.
