Kenny's POV Fuckkk I know this is awkward but you just going to work with me I can tell he's nervous I men each I would be well im but ugh whatever- he's nervous because he's playing with his hands is what I'm trying to say I clear my throat and places his hands on the table "you should stop that," I tell him it came ut more serious than I thought but whatever He lifts his head and furrows his eyebrow "what?" I point to his hands he realizes what he's doing and moves them down under the table "How have you been butters?" he looks hesitant when he answers "I've been doing pretty good gust recently got my own apartment" he smiles proudly of himself I nod my head "that's great hows life treating you now your on your own?" without your asshole parents constantly on your ass- " it uh it was scary being on my own at first but I think I'm getting used to it it has only been 5 months so i think I'm doing pretty well on my own" he shakes his head and waves him and jesting to me "but that's enough about me how are you doing whats uh what's new for you" he smiles at me let me just tell you I feel like I'm in high school again. "I've also moved into an apartment I live with Karen but she gonna be on her own she been saving for a place for herself' (i did the math and he's like 3 yrs older(23))) I explained "I'm proud of her" he nods his head politely and smiles "so where do you work now I've uh been to city food and I haven't seen you there for a while," he says bashfully that he mentioned he was looking for me awww he cares "i actually work in a diner a fancy one, yeah I'm the person who takes there orders," I tell him with pride he raises an eyebrow "so you're a waiter?" he questions I nod my head that's nice "so where do you work now you know where I do" I smile "oh I work at an animal shelter i help mostly upfront but occasion i work in the back with the animals i really like working with the cats" he smiles fondly I nod my head when I speak up I look to see that stan is the water at the diner Whait when did he have a job here anyway we tell him out orders and he leaves not with out giving me a wink and a nod. Leo and I continue to talk about anything and Stan comes back with our food. And omgg it looks so good i start to eat and i look up at butters to see he got a plate of salad and some rice. I cut off a peace of my meat and offer it to him. "Do you want some?" I say holding the fork to him he shakes his head and politely declined " I'm not much of a meat eater anymore" he tells me i nod my head and end up eating the peace i offered to him " ok can i ask why not?" He sends a soft smile "its just not my preference i ll eat anything but meat" he tells me taking a bite of his salad " you still never cease to amaze me" i smile at him. His cheeks turn red blushing "Oh geez ken,and your still such a sweetheart" he bats his eyes at me smile down at his plate we continue eating until were finished and i offer to walk him home. He agrees and pulls out his phone to text someone ( Butters pov) finally 🤨 I put my phone back in my pocket after telling kyle imma walk home with kenny. Its dark out and the streetlight and moonlight are the only ones watching us at night i turn to kenny and smile softly he holds out his arm for me to hold as we walk . "Its really beautiful tonight" i say i feel him look at me as he agrees "Yeah it really is" We continue to walk home in a comfortable silence and he leads me to my apartment door i smile up at him oh gosh should i kiss him? Should he just leave? Should I invite him in? My thoughts are interrupted by Kenny speaking "tonight was great we should do it again" oh wow agian this means that he likes me enough to do this again?? Scoreeee " thatsifyouwanttoimnottryingtoforceyouoranythin-" " of course i would love to" i tell him he lets out what i think is a breath of relief we tell each other goodnight and just as he turnsto walk away i gently grab the sleve of his jacket he pauses to turn around and look at me he looks confused "What-mph" I cut off his sentence with a swift kiss and he kisses back his hand shidind down to my waist the other to my cheek my hands slides to hold his arms we stay like that for a while , I pull back to ceth my breath and He looks dazed i giggle and let him go and wave to him as i go in side " see you don Ken" i close the door.
WHOOOHOOO FINALY SUMMER NOW I CAN WORK ON THIS BOOK😩😭😭😭😭😭 Gowd daum did this take a long time fo no real reason 🤨 but im backkk Also ik this chapter is probably bad but ill fix it later my computer is being a hoe and wont wotk right so i did this otp but whatever
