Tatooine was quite hot, but it was something Lilla was accustomed to already. She scoped out the Speeder parts trading areas for people she could easily steal from. Yet, Lilla was a wanted criminal, and countless posters of her were plastered everywhere. Because of this, she was quick to steal and depart. She constantly moved around Mos Espa to avoid being caught by bounty hunters, or anyone else she was wanted by.
Even so, she made sure not to steal from the Jedi who visited. She did not want the Jedi Order to know about her whereabouts. It was likely too late since the rumors in Tatooine about her containing the force were already known by every vendor in Mos Espa. Her knowledge of the force was limited, however, she had never equipped or handled a lightsaber and was sure she would be defeated in the event she came across one. Lightsabers also cause Lilla great fear, as her parents were brutally murdered with them.
The young woman made her way into the busy streets, covering the lower part of her face, and avoiding eye contact with anyone she recognized. Jewelry, money, or anything valuable that would make easy money was needed. Money was all Lilla needed.
A heavy presence filled her senses as she walked.it was a Jedi. Knowing where the Jedi was and acting quickly was crucial. Her observations led her to him immediately. But, he was no Jedi, only a Padawan, yet, she couldn't underestimate his abilities. She felt a difference between him and her. There was anguish in his eyes. Even though she could perceive the force with the Jedi she'd seen, nothing had previously felt as intense as it did at this moment. The moment he turned around, Lilla saw his eyes meeting hers. It hadn't occurred to her that she'd been staring at him so intently. She continued on, passing wanted posters of her. She noticed that a woman was accompanying him; she was almost drenched in stuff Lilla needed.
She hid near a shop, examining items to stall time. Lilla glanced back to see the boy now walking hurriedly into the shop. Now was her chance. She rushed to the store and made her way to the girl. She was someone important as it seemed by her prosperous choice of clothing, but Lilla would attempt not to get caught no matter how risky the situation was. She bumped into the girl, slipping the bracelets off her wrists.
"I'm sorry"
was all Lilla said, but deep down inside she really wasn't. She hid the jewelry in her pockets, and with a grin, she walked away.
"Thief!!"
Lilla's eyes glanced to the right to see a citizen of Tatooine holding the poster. The girl she'd just stolen from, checked her wrists noticing her bracelets were stolen.
"Hey--my bracelets!!"
The Padawan ran out of the shop and looked at Lilla; she ran into a sprint, and so did the boy. She pushed through the crowds of people who shouted and cursed at her. Lilla made her way into a usual alleyway, but it was barricaded.
"No no no.."
She pulled out her rusted ELG-3Q blaster pistol. Although it was for diplomats and nobles, and so on; she found it in a scrap shop. The pistol didn't actually work, but it was a weapon she used to intimidate people; it was a personal accessory. The boy was now behind her, and she aimed her blaster pistol at him as he pulled out his saber.
"You and I both know it doesn't work--so drop it"
Lilla lowered her gun, and the Padawan lowered his saber.
"We need to discuss some things."
