After Light left,Another smart student who wasn't smart as Light but was smart sees the death note and find it curious and take the death note home.His name was Skan-kun.Skan saw a guy in his way.It was the popular criminal.Skan got scared but he thought it was the perfect moment to test the notebook.He wrote the Name with The face in his mind and the criminal dies exactly after 40 seconds,Skan was Statue for 1 minute.He was dead inside when he saw this.But after this he thought of bringing the book home.He thought he should check the death note one more time.He wrote a name of a name broadcasting in the news.He dies after 40 seconds. Skan was shocked.But he thought he got the power to become God.But then Ryuk came.Skan was shocked and surprised but he wasn't scare as he thought if A notebook of death is real then shinigami can be real too.Ryuk said the Notebook you are holding is mine and I'm Ryuk.Skan said "so ARE you here to kill me.Ryuk said "NO now the notebook belong to you".Skan said Thanks and he says now he will use the notebook for killing criminals As well as  persnal reasons.Skan wrote the name of many criminals on the first day only.While Light life was going normal as he wasn't kira and even policed haven't noticed the deaths
