There was a time when I was alone.
No were to run and no place to call home.
My only friend was the distant sun.
But sometimes the sun would run away to.
Than one day the sun came near.
And warmed me with its far off glow.
It stayed with me since.
Never missing a hit.
But one day the sun found another one.
It left in the night.
Never coming back.
Leaving me alone in the dark.
Across the hill.
I saw its glow.
Warming it's light on another one.
Why sunshine left?
I will never know.
But I can guess the possible ones.
Was I not good for my own sun?
Did I say something wrong to my sun?
Maybe I just wasn't the one.
Did your sunshine ever leave you?
Or did it stay until the next day.
Maybe it was just I.
Who the sun left.
But now I'm alone.
With sunshine no more.
