P.O.V Zoey
Zoey, being the wonderful woman she is, let Duncan stay over till Rythian came back, sort of hoping he would someday. She hoped that if she told him that Rythian would never come back, he would take her in, teaching both her and Kim. She allowed him to stay in the guest room as long as he didn't make a mess.
Each day, the trio would go out and do anything; fish, mine, or just chill out. She had awoken in the morning and prepared breakfast; a feast of meat for Teep, toast for Duncan, and a salad for herself. She walked to Teep's room to wake him, hearing a bell to signify he was awake, then walked to the guest room to wake Duncan when she heard crying.
"Duncan?" she asked, afraid something had happened. "Are you okay?" She opened the door a little to find Duncan sitting on the bed crying.
"Y-ya. Just got s-something in my eye." He wiped his eye for affect, although Zoey could tell that wasn't it. She stood there, Duncan looking at her with his beautiful purple eyes. They were watery and they had a very depressed look. After a few seconds, he broke down again crying into his hands.
"I pushed her away!" he wailed. "Kim! She is gone! She isn't on vacation! She didn't go away for a week! I was mad, and I kicked her out! I dunno why, I dunno how, but I did! That is why I wanted to come here! B-but... I know I'll be alone when Rythian comes back..." He cried, and Zoey walked over to him and sat on the bed, allowing him to rest in head on her shoulder, crying his worries away.
"Rythian will never come back..."
P.O.V. Rythian
Rythian was happy to find that Kim's leg was alright again and she could walk, allowing them to go on walks through the forest. Kim was currently helping him build the camp, making two tent like things and a kitchen like area. She was gathering sticks while he was gathering leaves. He was walking around, looking for leaves, not realizing he was in a forest full of leaves. He was thinking of Kim and her beautiful eyes, even if one was purple and it looked like she couldn't see out of it.
He kept on thinking and thinking, that is until he ran into a tree. "Dum träd." He muttered, rubbing his nose. He shook the pain away and looked up the tree. "Leaves! Lots and lots of leaves!" He started to climb the tree until he got to the top, where the leaves were the largest. He picked them then climbed down, walking towards the camp.
When he got back, Kim was sitting near the pond with a pile of sticks near by. He put the leaves down and walked towards her, only to here her crying. "Kim..." he said. "You okay? I've got leaves. Want a leaf? I might make you feel better." She continued to cry, so he walked over and sat down next to her. She laid her head on his shoulder.
"I wish that I could go back."
Remember that thing that I was talking about yesterday? Well for me, I just had that, and my throat hurts... a lot. I need a fudge pop...
I need to add some fluff...
