0. Birth, Life, Death and Rebirth

Maki Zenin let out an exhaustive breath as she was surrounded by a group of cursed spirits.

"I didn't expect a group of curses to surround me." Maki said out loud as she stared at the cursed beings.

Maki was gravely injured during her fight with the Zenin Clan who she successfully defeated and was exhausted. Both mentally and physically.

When she was going to leave the location of the now-destroyed Clan, she was jumped by a group of cursed spirits.

And the one leading them was a certain human-hating former sorcerer, Suguru Geto.

"Hm... it certainly was a surprise to see one of the Great 3 Clans fall because of their own failure." Geto commented as he stared down Maki's injured body with a mocking smile.

Maki glared back with hate and disgust in her eyes at the former sorcerer. "I refuse to die here!" She stated as she started to slash at the cursed spirits, numbering them down slowly yet steady.

After a while, Maki had become more injured than before and the number of cursed spirits dwindled.  This happened all under Geto's sight and control.

Geto looked bored out of his mind after a while of watching the claimed 'Zenin failure' kill more cursed spirits. Letting out a small sigh, he finally had enough. "Alright, play time's over monkey."

Maki was surprised when she felt a sudden pain located in her heart which made her stop midway from killing the last curse there. Looking down, she saw a very long nail that belonged to a curse sticking out.

She had been stabbed without noticing. Coughing up blood, she glared at Geto. "You fucking bastard." she cursed.

Geto watched as she fell on her back and ordered the group of cursed spirits to back off from the dying woman.

"Shame. You have to die early or you'd probably ruin my plan." Geto casually told Maki who was bleeding to death.

"Well, bye-bye Zenin monkey!" Geto waved goodbye to Maki with a mocking smile as Maki began to lose consciousness. 

And soon, everything turned black for the Zenin.

Time skip...

There stood a small girl holding a man's hand and the man had a small bundle in his free arm.

The girl had short black hair that reached her shoulder and the man next to her looked very intimidating, having long messy black hair and a red tattoo of some sort on the left side of his face.

"So, you want me to take care of your brats?" Garp asked again as he stared down at the young girl and the bundle in the man's arm.

The girl stared back, showing she wasn't afraid of the large man in front of her which amused him a little.

"Yes. It's the safest option there is. If the Marines were to find out that I'm their father it'd put them both in danger. And with what I'm doing... It isn't exactly 'child friendly' " The cloaked man answered with an honest tone, looking at both of his beautiful children.

He knew he had to give up his children for their safety. Even though he raised his eldest daughter for 2 years and he took care of his newborn son for a while, he knew that what he was doing could gravely endanger his children.

His children weren't strong enough to defend themselves, at least not yet.

Garp crossed his arms and clicked his tongue, knowing he was right.

"Fine. I'll raise them."

And he'll make sure that they'll become great Marines. Which would of course backfire horribly.

Because both carried the will of D.
