( Y/N'S POV )

"SLEEP WELL MY DETECTIVE.." i flinched when i felt arms wrapping around me "sleep with me..?" he asked in a raspy voice "sorry but we can't tonight. If we are both asleep then who will be taking care of the hilichurl camps? certainly not you, that's for sure" i laughed as he pouted "so rude, hmph!" heizou answered as he turned around, his back facing me. After some time i looked down and saw him hugging himself, sound asleep. As soon as i looked away from the sight before me i ran towards the kamisato estate to get my belongings as i ignored the tears forming in my eyes.

'he will be okay, he is a part of the tenryou commission..' i smiled sadly as tears rolled down my chin. Heizou is an understanding guy so he will probably understand my intentions, right? he will understand that my desire for escaping inazuma has nothing to do about him, right? he will be able to understand that i can't live under the pressure of being in inazuma with the vision hunt decree and everything, right? of course he will, he's my friend after all.

my legs began to feel paralyzed as they prayed not to take a step more 'home..' i walked towards the gate as i got greeted by the guards standing from the entrance to the door, smiling at my presence as i walked inside the estate, not aware of my plans to escape this nation "hello my lady, mrs. Ayaka and mr. Ayato are doing some business with lady yae and mr. Thoma is out shopping for dinner tomorrow. If you want i can inform them of your arrival?" he asked as i shook my head in response "no need, thoma is aware of my arrival as i saw him on my way back. When ayaka and ayato comes back you don't have to tell them as i believe thoma will"

the guard nodded at my response "very well my lady, may the clouds of eternity in the sky protect you!" i nodded as i walked inside the estate, directly walking towards my room 'i can't believe he really fell for that. Perhaps the guards really are stupid as ayato claims they are..' i took my packed bags and walked towards the door before realization caught up on me, how am i gonna get out of the house with this? 'i suppose i can just say im gonna sleep at Naganohara fireworks' i nodded in agreement with my thoughts as i walked out, the obvious lie flying around in my head

The kindly guard greeted me again as he saw me leave the estate "my lady, if you don't mind me asking.. where are you going?" a fake sight escaped my lips as i spoke up "i agreed with the owner of Naganohara Fireworks to sleep there for the night being. I already informed thoma about this matter so no need to bring it up to ayaka and ayato, understood?" i said. The guard nodded "very well, i shall take my leave" i walked my way out of the entrance as i ran to ritou as i didn't wish to come late for my arrangement with captain beidou.

when i finally got there i saw beidou walking out of her ship as she flashed me a smile "hello there! now i won't budge into your personal life and troubles but aren't you a kamisato? why would you wanna leave inazuma when your clan is known to be serving the shogun?" she asked. "simple, i have no reason to be here. My brother ayato is the head of the clan and my sister is the shirasagi himegimi while i.." i stopped talking as a frown grew on my face "i am nobody. I have no such title as the 'shirasagi himegimi' and i don't have any important responsibilities like 'head of the kamisato clan' so i'm no use, all i do is travel around inazuma and pretend i never seen it before"

beidou nodded "you got a point there.." beidou sighted before she continued "..alright. Get on the ship and i'll sail ya to any nation you desire! say, watcha looking for?" i smiled "i have heard great things about each nation so it's such a shame to choose one, but i think i will choose mondstadt. Not only is it a free nation where the people can truly live with their desires but they are quite known for their wine and the beautiful lands aswell.." beidou laughed "mondstadt? easy peasy, lets go!" i nodded as i walked onto the ship and began to look around the crux, slowly admiring the people on the ship

"hello there, who may you be?" a mysterious voice asked "kamisato Y/N, what about you?" "i am kaedehara kazuha, an wanderer from inazuma. Say, mrs Kamisato, why do you want to get to mondstadt if your clan serves the raiden shogun?" I didn't want to answer and to my luck, i think he noticed "apologies, i don't wish for you to be uncomfortable with my questions, i was merely just curious" he nervously explained, i just laughed "no no, it's alright, your question doesn't make me uncomfortable! i don't know the answer myself tho.."

Kazuha nodded"i see, well, what about your siblings? i understand inazuma isn't in the best sercumstances at the moment but surely they must be knowing about your escapism?" my eyes widened as i remembered 'WHH DIDN'T I TELL THEM? GOD IM SO STUPID! okay, keep it professional Y/N, you can do it..' i sighted "no, they don't. I didn't tell them as i knew they would stop me. I too, forgot to tell a close friend of mine of this escapism.. i apologize if this would bring trouble to captain beidou, the crux, the crew or you" i answered while i looked down in shame

"it's not a surprise as i did see it coming, but leaving family while escaping yourself? that's a story i never have heard. now, if you wish, you said you left a close friend? mind telling me who they were? i won't budge so if you don't want i won't pressure you" he said "it's completely fine, his name is shikanoin heizou, he's a detective from the tenryou commission. He may seem childish for some people but in reality he is one of the best detectives out there, and he is known for always coming back with results, great results even! i wanted him to tag along but remembering his status, i really couldn't."

i stopped talking as i wiped some upcoming tears away, kazuha still listening carefully "he was always clingy and whining, always wrapping his arms around me and asked me to let him lay his head on my chest or if i could hug him. Of course, i never said no since i enjo-" "shh, can you hear it? something's coming our way" kazuha looked around the open sea before he pointed "over there, I'll go and warn captain beidou" i looked at the way kazuha pointed and saw a boat sailing our way

the boat was small and couldn't even fit 12 people on there 'its probably just a person who's trying to escape inazuma' i thought, and oh boy was i wrong. Bombs were shooting our way, trying to bomb the crux, all kinds of arrows were aimed and shooted towards us, posionus gas bombs were aimed at the crew's heads, it was all a big disaster. "everyone, evacuate! Kazuha is warning captain beidou at the moment but until then, get to safety!!' i tried to remain my calmness until i felt the familiar comforting breeze with elemental powers flying in

my eyes widened 'is it him? no, it can't be! he's nice, he wouldn't do this!!' as much as i wanted to ignore the thought of him doing this i just couldn't! as the boat came closer i finally got a closer look at the people on the ship and saw him...
